Maybe someone could help, but whenever I try to make this, the eggs don't come out right. Is the broth supposed to be bubbling boiling or heated to a boil then "relaxed" a bit first?
I never order egg drop soup from any Chinese Restaurant because of the way it sounds. Silly, I know but yours looks scrumptious and I am going to try it. I just taught it would be like raw egg soup.🤢. The eggs are a little scrambled which looks better.

Either it was mixed to thick or else you let it sit before adding. Not sure which one. If it sure a little while before you add it in then simply stir it up again before adding in the broth. Let me know if that helps.

Cornstarch gives it that thick consistency like at restaurants. You can leave it out, it will just be more liquidy!

When you pour them in, the pan should be very hot, and you have to turn off the pan immediately so they don’t overcook

had this soup in China... it tasted of nothing, it literally had no taste, at first i thought it was cabbage soup, but cabbage has actual flavour.
