Hi I got a problem with my car's headlight. So i went to mazda and they said it will cost somewhere around 600 just to see whats the problem. So before comitting to there price im trying to look for solutions to fix this problem. For some reason my car's left headlight wont turn off and it seams alittle bit brighter than the right one. Right headlights functions well when you switch city, headlights on, auto, off. But the left just stays on. It turns off when i put the car on parked. Would you happen to know how to fix this?
You have some sort of electrical problem. Maybe a stuck relay, bad ground, someone is going to have to walk through the wiring and test each component one by one. It might take someone 5 minutes it might take someone 5 days. Electrical problems like that can be difficult to find. Generally when one light appears brighter it's because it's not at the same level as the other light and needs to be adjusted
The LEDs are integrated into the projector. There is no bulb that can be replaced. If the LED fails, the recommended solution is to purchase a new headlight.
Both fascinating, and terrifying that my Mazda has a headlight that is so complex and costs so much to fix.
Does anyone know of a similar video tearing down the same model cx5 tail light?
Hi there! Thank for you video! I have a question, how I can change reflector from right hand auto to left hand? Thanks

How come it doesn't have the drl Led? Strip bar(s) or outline?
Touring trim and below doesn't have LED DRLs, only Grand touring and above have it.
Hello,
Is there a way to adjust the headlights? I know there is only the vertical but is there also a horizontal screw?
I think this one will adjust in horizontal motion.

@@gftgrill ok. Thank you. I will try that and I’ll let you know of the results
Where's the vertical adjustment? My car's left headlight aims alittle bit high
Is there a way to replace the headlight casing only and if so what adhesive do you need
Butyl
Can you change the light bulb only? Or do you have to change the whole unit?

@@gftgrill Damn, mazda is trash for doing that. Especially because the 2013-2016 mazdas you could definitely replace just the bulb.
Does touring has adaptive headlight?
I believe it's a VIN specific option.
Sadly LED's are not made to last forever. If it fails, it will be costly to replace the entire unit.
