i am so gassed that you touched on lowkey, he got blackballed from a lot of platforms because his lyrics are very political, he was even called a terrorist for simply making music and being an activist for oppressed people. i'd recommend his original daily duppy from qwaayyyy back in the day like 2007 or some shit, he did another one in 2021 i think though, he also has a track called Alphabet Assassin, it's in a league of its own.

Lowkey was the first one that got me obsessed with UK rap. Dude is unreal. Came across him cause of a collaboration with immortal technique
I originally found Lowkey through his collab with Immortal Technique over a decade ago. I'm not as deep in the UK scene, but Lowkey was easilyone of my favourites back in the day.

IMO this is the best moment any rapper has ever had. The bars are insane, multi syllable rhyming, punchlines hard af, the flow and speed of his flow, the rhyme schemes and patterns, the content and also being conscious and yet braggadocious whilst censoring himself. This is like almost prime kool g rap technicality, on some Eminem level but whilst freestyling but with immortal technique content near the end. Guy is a legend. One of the best rappers ever. If he had more bar heavy albums he’d be way more known, recognised and rated but his albums being conscious and having political content are still amazing but he doesn’t get the respect as much as he deserves because it’s not all bar-ing out.
