Oh dear. Why bother to go through all the math (such as there is) and then suddenly go and use the actual values of log 5 and log 3 ? May as well get your calculator our right away....
@@pjaj43 calculators do it all for you now. You can put any base in. Gone are the days of only have log base 10 and natural log tables! Oh but I did love them.
@@pjaj43 myscript calculator on the ipad you hand write log3 45. The three must be a little subscript. I’ve been using it for so long I didn’t realise normal calculators don’t do it 😂 However you can convert a log base 10, by using log base 10 of the number divided by log base 10 of the base you want. Eg log 100 = 2. But log base 2 of 100 = log 100/ log 2 . = 2/ 0.301..= 6.64…. Lovely neat trick. Log rules; love them!
Very good refresher for people who never learned algebra properly.
or: 3^a=9×5
a×log(3)=log(9)+log(5)
a=2×log(3)/log(3) + log(5)/log(3)
a=2+log(5)/log(3)
If you must do it that way then 45 = 3^2*5
divide both sides by 3^2
Then 3^(a-2) = 5
(a-2)log3 = log5
a=2+log5/log3
I got that in half a minute using log 45/log3. Why do you have to go through all those other steps?
This is a step by step explanation to reach out simple solution......
3^a=45
log(3^a)=log45
a.log3=log45
a=log45/log3
Log45=1.653
log3=0.477
a=1.653/0.477
a=3.465
what is this!? ultimately you are using a calculator!?
6а=90 а= 90÷6=15
3×15=45 45+45=90,а==45
Very good !

a = log 45 / log 3 = (log3) 45
Yes. Why all the long winded stuff.
Yes, but where are you going to get a table of logs base 3?

@@yodaami I've never seen a calculator that does this. It's certainly not all of them.

Logarithms rule!!!!!!
Kurang simpel penjelasan nya
Сами данные в примере подобраны не удачно!
How.....?
