Short road trip to Ojai, CA from Los Angeles, CA

Ojai is about 80 miles from Los Angeles downtown (via US-101N). It’s perfect for one day trip and lovely driving experience.
Found this place really beautiful and peaceful. We made a random plan to visit this place during our thanksgiving holidays and we are actually planning to revisit soon especially to bike around the city and visit Jiddu Krishnamurthy’s Ashram (which sadly we couldn’t visit in this trip as we reached after it was closed).
I would recommend to visit this place with friends and family and even alone if you are a sole traveler. You can take this peaceful gateway from city life in LA and can revitalize yourself with beauty of nature, meditation and fresh air water and authentic coffee ☕️ 🍰

I lived there many years. I even went to high school there. I miss how those mountains lit up at sunset. It's a special place for sure. A lot of memories there.

Hint: if you"re coming to Ojai from the greater LA area (or South), the better route is to head north on the I5 to the 126 in Castaic. Take 126 to Santa Paula and exit on the hwy 150 toward Ojai. You're welcome.
