I am directing LTSH for high school next year and I have watched many recordings of this show from Broadway to high school. Obviously the Bway ones are great, but this takes the cake for best high school performance of this show I have seen! Amazing Job!
I was in n this show in highschool in New London Connecticut back in the 80s. I worked hard to get in the cast and had five bit parts. My grades weren't so good, so my parents pulled me out of the show completely! I know if that'd have just let me stay and do all the rehearsals and show, I'd be a better person today. My life Lost allot of meaning at that point. This is a wonderful performance! There's a lot of talent here! I wish I could see the one I was supposed to be part of. It was so long ago. I don't think there's any recordings of it.
I also lost all interest in school after getting pulled out of the drama club. I lived for it. It kinda ruined my future. Sad, I wonder where I'd be now if I were allowed to stay. I think I'd of at least graduated high school!
