The on top application seems amazing, I need to try it! Another tip if I may add is to run a game in borderless window, alt tab out but see if you can move around with a controller by looking on the preview of obs, some games don't need to be the most front layer to allow input meaning you can just play and see your game from obs 😁

Thank you! Glad it was helpful. If you’re streaming a game using the Game Capture source they will not. If you want your viewers to see everything that is on your screen, you can always stream a display capture although if you’re playing games the results aren’t as good. Does that answer your question?
Is it possible to use your gaming system as your streaming system and another computer (maybe a laptop) as your moderator system for chat and interactions with your viewers?
You can actually use your smartphone with twitch app and go to stream manager and there you see the chat and can also change stream title etc. If its just about the chat

I have a 27 inch monitor but I want to get an extra monitor to see my chat? Should I buy one ? i have a hdmi 1 on my ps5 as well and my hdmi 2 is on my the single monitor . do i have to keep switching hdmi ports to play as i go?
You can set it as an over lay and then click the eye to make it not visible to stream. like if you play music and don’t want that on the stream you can mute it in obs but you can still hear it

@westonsm I have been trying to install OTR for hours on my mac m1 with no luck. how do I get the file to open up? When I click on the zip file it opens up to another file, then I click on that file and it opens to another file. Replicating the same file over and over again
That depends on how you have obs set to record. If you are doing Game Capture it will only show your game. If you are doing Display Capture it shows everything you can see on the screen, just like the last scene on his setup (Num 4).
@@churrundog oh okay! Here’s a tip. It’s doesn’t really matter what type of monitor you get for example you could use a old one that’s in your basement or garage. Or you could simply got to good will or a pawn shop and buy a cheap one there even if it’s old and or crappy it should still work fine!

I use an aukey webcam. It’s a good beginner cam it’s about $28 if ur looking for a cheap one that nice

so you have to download an additional browser, in order to down load On Top Replica? At least that is what it's forcing me to do...
Do you mean download chrome? What browser do you use?

which one allows you to see donos?
You can configure your chat to show donos (and all notifications) through stream labs or stream elements. That’s probably the best and easiest way.
