Great video on this camper shell. I love the design and quality. Thank you.
Halfway through the video 5 minutes and I think "Salesman" has 2 minutes worth of "Uuuuuh, Uuuuum....."
the "best pop-up" sorry but Fourwheel Popup campers makes the best unit hands down. Their roof is made from a no seam aluminum roof, super hard to puncture that!
Not saying for the price this unit isn't nice but look at resale value, the Fourwheel. If and when you want to sell it you'll have a biding war on your hands...lol.
so true
You got that right, I just lost out in the bidding war. I didn't even get to bid. It got sold sight unseen for thousands of dollars etransferred without even meeting the owner or confirming that the camper even existed.
Nice camper. Suggestion for actually trying to sell it! Open ALL compartments and install ALL panels/cushions for us to see. One down side to the camper. It's 2021, the clearance lights used are from the 80's! You can replace the with 3/4" round dot type LED lights!
Roof marker lights are not sealed all the way around the base. Water can wick in. I owned a Palomino... water damage everywhere. P.O.S.!
Thanks, I'll check that out on mine. I wouldn't recommend Palomino either, unless you're willing to spend a lot of time repairing and troubleshooting. I got a new SS-1650 in 2018 for a lot less than many other truck campers, but I sure spend a lot of time repairing it, improving it, and trying to anticipate the next problem. Very poor craftsmanship and low-end materials. If one of those electric roof lifts suddenly won't lower, will you be able to access the emergency drive shaft fitting with a cordless drill?
We recently purchased a Palomino Real-Lite and the actuator on the passenger side crapped out in the first 2 weeks. We tried the manual crank and it stripped out. I had to get inside the camper and lift it with my back while raising the unit with the remote. We then had to place a wood block to hold the roof up. Forest River has been absolutely horrible to work with on warranty of this. Mind you this is before our first payment came due on the loan. Every place we call says they won't do warranty work for Forest River because of Forest Rivers' refusal to pay for their work after it's been completed. Now I've been told to "find a mobile RV tech and we will reimburse you." I offered to do the replacement myself but they won't ship me the replacement parts due to liability. Absolutely horrible support and I would never recommend this company to anyone,
True dat Palamino are junk and FR knows it!
do you have anything for a 6.5 ft bed 1/2 ton truck bed? would be doing light offroading, not sure what does best
We do! There is a fitting section on our website here: www.accessrv.com/page/fit-my-truck-to-a-camper
What is the monthly payment with good credit?
Will this fit the average bad size in a 2017-2018 Toyota Tacoma double cab and crew cab? and how many lbs is it?
And is there any way to out a roof rack on it for like kayaks etc.
Yes will fit all pop campers will fit
Not enough info, guess we need to go on the manufacturers website and look up alternative dealers. Some states have NO sales tax! Food for thought! Road trip would pay for the travel!
Uuuuum uuuuuuh you keeps saying only “palomino has” but I’ve seen many others have same features.
The uhms and ahs the are really annoying ,otherwise informative.
