I definitely agree! You have to be extremely disciplined for it to work and it’s so easy to get behind but if your diligent you can get it done! 😉

Agree! I’m an online student at Bryant and Stratton College and it’s so stressful! I have 2 weeks left and currently have a 600 word summary and 5 paragraph essay due by this Saturday. I have another class too with 4 assignments due Wednesday 😭 I’m majoring in Human and Social Services.

As someone struggling with depression, leaving the house and worrying about absences is hell. Online classes are god-sent. I can do it on my schedule, and I still have energy to do chores and workout after classes.

Staying organized and ahead of schedule is the key. Just finished College with 10 subjects.....each teacher gave us a project or assignment due the following week. My date planner was my lifeline for staying ahead. I would write my homework down that day in my book as I got it...and flip over to that assignment's due date and put it in there....I also worked a few weeks ahead. I would have my homework done one week ahead of time. My school email and personal email were set up together in my inbox.

I needed this! I did terrihorrrrribly last semester because I am not an online class girl. Thank you so much! I’m working on getting more organized this year, I bought myself a good sized dry erase board to map out my assignments each week. I’m very visual.
Sara Cee I've gotten used to online classes through the years, I'll be graduating this May but I just bought myself a huge new dry erase board for my upcoming semester next week also 😂, I don't want to slip up again on being unorganized. I want to finish strong this final semester.

This video is very helpful. I start my online classes this friday and my first time taking online classes for college i took them in my senior year of high school. And i needed some refresher tips :) i have to subscribe u seem so cool and pretty. :) p.s. im majoring in psychology to be a career counselor .

Apps like sectograph will allow you to connect Google calendar to your alarm clock, to allow you to set alarms not just for "June 2, 1pm" but also "remind me two weeks before" or other, customizable content. You can get a notification sound and an interrupt page at the appropriate moment. Sectograph will also show you a pie chart of how you're budgeting your time... we only get 24hrs a day, whether we work, school, talk, play, sleep or eat with it... no matter how successful we are, how old we are, etc... we can only have 168 hours a week, same as everyone else.

Agree with all of this. I go ahead and do all of my work for every class every week on Mondays and Tuesdays. So the rest of the week every week I don't have to do anything.

I did 2 years worth of high school in 3 years bc i kept avoiding my assignments and quizzes. Thankfully, they were very flexible in my classes, however, i am going to do college online, too.. These tips are very helpful and i will definitely use them. Thank you~!

Hello Honey bear! What is your note taking tips especially for online. I take note of terms/ definitions but like Psychology 1101 I would have nearly 50 words accumulated per chapter plus important people and historical dates. Do you speed read or take it slowly when reading Chapters. Do you have any other suggestions to help for midterms or finals, there is so much information I dont know how I'm going to remember it all?

SEMO uses outlook that I have on my phone for email. I just did 2 online classes to help me graduate in December. 6 weeks at the same time. One (economics) has an A other (creative writing) is TBD 😀

Time management. When you get home, you either do what you got to do..meal prep, tidy the house, shower, get at least 2 hours of work done... if you take breaks daily, review course materials or notes.
How do you stay focused during you completing your assessments in bulk do you take breaks do you schedule them ?
Usually I decide to do one class at a specific time but yes I do take breaks! ☺️

You would have to research the school you are interested because every school requires something different. Sorry I couldn’t help more 😌
Where are you taking online classes at???
I had online classes & flunked due to my teachers saying my discussion questions not showing substantial understanding of the information. Any suggestions to avoid this.
I'd say try to review topics before you write on the discussion board. The best tip to get pencil and paper and physically write out a response. It is easier to review and edit on paper versus typing as you get thoughts. Ask questions on the discussion board if you don't get it the teacher will be able to respond to you.
I agree with Thea Whitaker. Also make sure you write at least a paragraph. Make sure the reiterate the question in your response and answer every portion of the question so they know you understand. You might just not be writing enough. Hope this helps! ☺️
Thanks for the information, your color grading on the video is a bit strong, we can't see your true beauty when your color grade is taking out the coloring in your skin. I was also distracted by the green of the pillow, but, again, great video keep it up, love your personality.
