Sometimes I watch Jessica Simpson interviews and newlyweds to this day to have some light entertainment. To go back to a simpler time (for me anyway) bc I was 13-15 years old when their show was on. So was The Osbournes, Girls next door, etc. Just light mindless fun tv.
Wow! She said she will call him anytime when she needs him but in her book she said he would turn off his phone. It is so funny to go back to these interviews after hearing what she wrote in her book. It really was like living two different lives.

They're usually ALL OVER each other in interviews. The presence of discomfort is so apparent with them both. Jessica is usually so bubbly, giggling, laughing, being ditzy and nick just smirks and laughs the entire time.
I agree... she had her hand on his thigh and he held his hands together... the sad part is that she stated he is a very affectionate and romantic man.. she thinks that he hated her after a while and when he wrote the song I cant hate you any more. She knew it was true.
She said she doesn't know how to sing quietly, which took me right back to my wonderful voice coach's words - that it's very easy to sing loudly, it's basically a parlor trick for someone who doesn't *have* good vocal control. I've tried to like her singing voice, and I think a real coach could help so much, but I don't personally care for her voice. Not being mean nor any judgment of her as a person, just my taste.
You could tell they were trying to fake the happy married life but this was during the time she started filming for Dukes of Hazzard. Their marriage went downhill quickly.

Nick is still touring with 98 Degrees. They have been back together since 2013. They just did Netflix show together. Vanessa has been on a few movies, played Brandon's wife on BH90210 when it aired last summer. So they're both still relevant. I'm just happy they both moved on and found happiness

In early 2000s Jessica was really skinny thin but was still considered normal for Hollywood stars coz they're gonna bash you if you gain a little weight. It's only recently that stars can already be a little more normal looking but back in the day, you cannot be a superstar like Nick and Jessica if you are fat.
