The Cowboys/49ers/Packers teams from this era are the most talented teams in NFL history, I don’t care what anyone says. Offensive strategies had really evolved by that point and the salary cap had not yet taken hold. Truly the sweet spot in NFL history.

Crazy part is that Shannon Sharpe's brother, Sterling was HOF quality and got a serious injury (I think back in 1994). If Favre had Sharpe + Freeman + Keith Jackson etc., those Packers teams might have won another ring or so. Niners had Cowboys number only after Jimmy left. Packers always struggled against Dallas because no matter what Favre did, the Packers D COULD NOT STOP Emmitt Smith. He used to run through them like Swiss cheese. Plus Favre always had a knack for throwing up a couple of gimmies and the Dallas D was really good at taking advantage.
