Black under their eyes, so thin and developing Anorexia, looking like Junkies but hairdo like a Rockstar, slim-denims and leather boots/ Dr Martin ,Converse. They did not think about what signals they were projecting because Vogue and Levi's said it was cool. Groupies' were those that slept with the bands that came to town, how i remember them in my past. My best friend at the time, we were 13 years old was dating a guy that was 20 and she had been after him for a year, mostly because he was a songwriter ,played guitar in hard rock band and was always drunk and getting into trouble. It was very common that guys around 20 years old were with 2-15 years old girls and widely accepted, at least in my town growing up. This was early 1991, i'm born 1978.
