Just so you know, they are a hassle, you will need to be prepared. They poop ALOT. They smell disgusting, they need lots of space and a variety of food, they need multiple daily deep cleans of their cages and lots of water. Good luck.
This was the same energy I was met with when I was asked to adopt two abandoned kittens that couldn't even open their eyes. I was told, "Don't get attached." We just celebrated their 15th birthday! Love and nurture are all we can offer other living things. And quite often, that is all it takes. May these duckies live life to its very fullest, by gentle hands willing to nurture them through their most difficult of days.
