Part 2 of this epic day at Mountain Creek Bike Park with Gene from RGMTB, and things are only getting better!
So many things to be stoked about today as we stepped up the gnarliness to include some serious tech, bigger jumps and drops, and even hit the RACE LINE!!
I was SUPER stoked to hit my first wall rides since my shoulder dislocation - for some reason I have had a serious mental barrier about them, but I finally overcame my fear and JUST WENT FOR IT!!
Huge shout out to Gene and MIke and the whole Jersey mtb scene that really welcomed me with open arms this day. It made for such an enjoyable experience, and I am looking forward to doing it again in the future!
Now on to my next adventure - conquering the concrete jungle of NYC

I just went to a local bike shop near my house and they were streaming your videos on a big tv screen ( were they have all the bikes MTB and Road ) LOL I told them "That guy is awesome!" ( Im from Western Massachusetts)

I went around a corner with no berm super fast and took it too wide. Went off the trail over a mound and into a tree.

Went here for my first mtb trip, went in blind to that table at 13.18 and stuck it perfectly, minus the shit I took in my pants haha. Ended up spraining my ankle on the double black after getting too comfortable.

You riding dominion was me riding Tempest. I got lost trying to find a blue trail and found a black instead. I just casually rode the jumps but got kinda close to clearing them. My only thought was “My God!”.

Hey you should go to Lake Placid, NY. There is a DH park at Whiteface Mountain. I will be there on the 17th. There is a few flow trails, but it's more black diamond trails.

Alex, your failure to clear those big tabletop jumps was less about speed and more about height. Getting higher on your pop will get you clear the jump.

Got to ride Mtn Creek last summer it was a blast. Did you guys ride the table top section up top before the small wall rides? I actually overshot the step-up around 12:50 by a long shot and managed to save it. I was a little hesitant about the wall rides towards the bottom but once you committed it was second nature. Psyched you got them. I have a bmx background and Im impressed how far (and fast) you have come since your underground cave bike park session, skills wise you look a lot more comfortable on your bike. Keep living the dream so guys like me doing a ten hour overnight shift on our day off can live vicariously through you! If your in the N.Y. area again check and see if the Percy Manor Bike Park is finished on Long Island NY. Should be a blast when it's finished. Also for NY trails check out the C.L.I.M.B. MTB website for more trails and reviews in the area!

No joke- watching you and Seth got me back into biking. After 12 years. Do you have any vids talking about how to buy my first MTB? I'm from Seattle and would like to use it to commute as well as get into beginner trails (commute is eight miles both ways at most- I'll mainly be using it on the trails)
I crashed theirs in June and had to get a plate and 9 screws out in my wrist. I still can't even pick up anything heavier than a water bottle😕
