That weld repair is absolutely atrocious.
was free and does the job pretty well so hahaha
Jay Jankulovski your dads a crap engine builder. You don’t apply that much localised heat to the cases (or bearings). It makes them warp and then the alignment and clearances of the moving parts are out of spec... which increases wear. You’re meant to put the whole case in an oven so it heats up uniformly and not too much. You don’t use a naked flame.
how about leaving a helpful tip and being and being nice next time instead of calling someone crap. :)
