Who Danced Dalla Dalla Best? (2020 vs 2019)

- This is more like...who danced each specific move best. Overall I think everyone danced better in the original dance practice. Some people did certain moves better in 2020, but most did better in 2019.
Maybe it’s because it had a more youthful energy but the newer one seemed a bit more cool, maybe even because the clothes looked more comfortable, or maybe just because they had freshly learned it. I think they’ve likely improved in dancing over time but this practice doesn’t quite show it. Also, just because someone is no longer the “best” at that move doesn’t always mean they did it worse, maybe someone else improved and looked even better, maybe there was a tie so I gave it to the other person in the other clip, or maybe it just came down to my preference for little things they added.
How flexible the “best” is shows how each person dances differently and how it’s not as easy to pick out who is doing best as it might seem. If they performed this dance 3 times back to back, I am sure who is doing best for each move would keep changing.

Yuna 46s (I think Yuna is the only one who may have done better overall in 2020)
Yeji 27s (I think she just didn’t go as full out this time around. Plus her outfit hid some of her moves in 2020)
Ryujin 21s
Lia 19s (Lia actually did a bit better in 2019, but so did everyone else. In 2020, some toned it down so more of her moves stood out. Also she’s the only one who really gets the shimmy on “dalla dalla” right)

Ryujin 30s (Ryujin often underdances but in a technical sense she is never really wrong, still it makes her almost, but not quite, the best per many moves I analyzed)
Lia 10s (I really didn’t notice Lia doing badly when they debuted, i think she does well in this dance practice. Just never quite the best.)
Chaeryeong is really good at moving her core and hips ... that’s what I’ve noticed them hips don’t lie LAMLAOA IM SORRY

Osoro Pwixa it’s not wrong though ?? for example, chaeryeong’s name is written like 채령 while twice’s chaeyoung’s name is written 채영. they both have the ㅕ which is “yeo”, but it is also “you” although the official romanization of her name is chaeryeong that doesn’t mean chaeryoung is wrong.
People keep saying Lia has improved soo much but really I thought she did pretty well in the original practice. I wouldnt say you can see notable improvement between the two vids of her tbh. She's pretty good it both overall

imo she was pretty good on the first dance practice vid, I think she actually started to decrease once people started bashing her, you can see the lack of confidence she had, and now she kinda gained that back so I think that's why people say she has improved, which she has but she wasn't bad to begin with

Lia- An average dancer (she has improved so much and she is 100% not as bad as most people think, even from the very beginning!)
Yuna- A good idol dancer (Yuna is all about giving energy and precision into her moves, and it makes people want to look at her when she is on stage)
Ryujin- An over average Lead Dancer (Ryujin puts a load of power into her dancing, and somehow also makes her moves look hella clean)
Yeji- A Main dancer (Yeji is by far one of the best dancers in the new kpop generation, she makes an incredible idol dancer too)
Chaeryeong- DANCING GODDESS
No idea why ppl compare their dancing

ITZY are all very good dancers (hence why they are in a dance group) and i do not doubt that. I agree, they are very different in their dancing styles, but their dancing skills are different to each other. But no matter what, we should always appreciate them and their hard work.

yeah for sure. I think the outfits do make a difference. Sadly, certain little things Yeji may have done went unnoticed. Yeji definitely didn't do any worse or anything. She's proving to be an amazing dancer in both performances
well, i agree with this. that oversized shirt clearly didn’t give justice to dance itself. i mean the lines, curves & such. ex when they are bending their backs etc. her moves aren’t much noticed bc of the shirt. however, i do agree that all of them improved A LOT. esp lia 🥺💗

Lia - elegant dancer, not the most powerful but it's nice and smooth.
Yuna - cute dancer, she's bubbly and good at dancing.
Ryujin - cool dude dancer, she's smooth but powerful, itz epic.
Yeji - idol dancer, she does choreographies for performing very well and brings a lot of power and sharp movements to her dancing.
Chaeryoung - Clean dancer, she brings the same amount of power to every performance and her movements are very neat.

everyone here is the 2 major reason why you should wear an appropriate clothes for dancing:
1st
it may be a stumbling rock for you it might hold you back from dancing because you're uncomfortable.
2nd
it might not give justice to your dance movements it might hide your small details in dancing and here yeji's the perfect example

Idk if I'm just a Lia biased but I sometimes get offended that people say she improved "than before" like??? i mean yeah i admit that she improved but this was one of her best era esp in dancing tho? Yes it is but she has one of the biggest flaws in dancing: balance. She often misses her legs and stumbles, even if it's very small detail but it's a pity that her popping is really eye-catching.

Yeah she actually is the only one to fully do it and get the timing right both times. I have a feeling it was something they were vaguely instructed to do and she was the only one to really sell it lol. Happens in choreo sometimes
