Whitney still looked good for 46....her legs were more shapely....her tummy want that bad....I have seen a lot worst...heroics was still good ...just rougher....and not many high smooth notes left....she would have recovered some of them if sh3nad live.

Some folks flat out loose their voices--Julie Andrews hasn't sung in decades. Whitney got up there still having her vocal power and had fun with her songs with her fans!

Yessir it does, there is comfort you have to feel to deliver the way people want and that they themselves want, and with the scrutiny and the recovery came the weight, do you remember how rail thin and youthfully sexy she was in the beginning and much of her reign,when the world is speaking of you negatively and have haters sitting at your table (sister in-law Pat) the effects of your spirit being weakened it most definitely will affect your delivery. Until I can make a song written Two Centuries or more ago land in the Top 10 on Billboard like Whitney did, the only thing I can say about her talent is that she is/was a truly legendary singer. Even during her most difficult times, I would have felt very fortunate to have been able to see her live in concert. I still feel fortunate that she left us and the generations to come with a remarkable musical legacy.

Mild emphysema from smoking thats what really killed her voice not no damn drugs. She still came out and didnt lip sync only a true queen would do that! If you love someone and there music u love them thru it all. I have much respect for her because she always said i will never lip sing and she stood her ground. I mean damn whitney wasn't in her 20s anymore she was pushing 50 and even till the end she went out like the diva she was and will always be! The doctor said she shud rest but she kept going for her fans! She gave her fans all of her the real her and that means alot! R.i.p queen.

She was not physically prepared to do a global tour. They should have approached it differently..like maybe intimate settings like in Las Vegas. Let the people go to u rather than go to each country. You cannot say that she cannot sing bec her technique is always there. the only problem is her throat..it seems to always have phlegm which makes her sound hoarse. But aside from that she can hit notes perfectly as evidenced by her tv performances.
It was because she developed emphysema so she couldn’t support her voice like she used to, and she got nodules on the bodyguard tour, that effected her singing ever since. Phlegm could be a factor but it’s minor compared to the bigger picture.

Whitney was a drug addict, and years of all the aforementioned vices destroyed her vocal cords & unfortunately killed her in the end. Sad but true!
