Here is my conclusion so far is that in humid climates if it doesn't allow moisture/water to pass through when the headlight drastically changes temperature compared to ambient it wont be able to breathe and vent properly. I want to see what vents the factory quad headlights have on them when I take them out. The aftermarket ones I showed don't have an issue and are using the same design just with a 90* hose on them.

Added gtr hid lows and gtr led highs and adjusted the vent caps while doing the job as i was having condensation issues as well. 2 years later and no condensation since. Vents were as you stated...pushed all the way in rendering the vent useless. I can confidently say that adjusting them out will take care of the issue for you.

UPDATE: So when I pulled the headlight out I found the reason for my condensation/water issue. When I replaced the halogen bulbs with the LED replacement lights, I actually didn’t make certain the cap on the back of the headlights wasn’t seated properly. As soon as I pulled the light, I could see how the panel wasn’t secured properly where the light bulbs go…smh…the water has damaged the lower part of the turn signal…so when I get tired of looking at it, I may just go with Boosted current replacement light set up. Thank you for the amazing videos!!

This is how it went with both my headlights having about same much water in them here in humid Louisiana ... I tried pull plugs different ways from little to as much as i could with no result and i dried them every time with fan and heater really good, it always lasted few days and then it started doing same from little fog to sitting water 2 weeks later... Then i tried 2nd approach and silicone plexiglass housing crack, nothing else, not the vents ofcourse... Suddenly one kept dry and never fogged again, i talked to few mechanics friends, both saying it's usually poor seal and it gets water or moisture in, i inspected thoroughly the silicone on light which was still fogging and could not find any hole crack in silicone fix, i siliconed it anyway again very carefully to not miss spot... after that it stopped fogging as well both are fine it never came back and it's about year now

Most people don’t realize is that when you switch from halogen bulbs which produce a lot of heat to LED which produce a lot less heat. You’ll have more condensation issues because not enough heat being produced to burn of condensation.

I got same problem on halogen , halogen heats too much , outside it s cold and condensation it s forms inside I need to find the ventilation and free them so it can breathe inside, even if no halogen they still get hot from the inside , the engine side it s hot also.

I would recommend you put some type of filter material in the ripped-out part. The inside of your lenses will gather dust and look dingey in a few months, I had this happen on my headlights from a bulb not being seated all the way, it's not fun to have to take them apart clean them carefully and then put everything back together hoping its fixed.

    • @BoostedMotorsports

Mesh stuff you can brush it it and also run it under the sink and fan it dry and you can always fan dry/heat dry it some take and use a vacuum with tube and insert it to take moisture out circulation . I think a fan or hair bower be fine . Some put it un a box with a hair bower some use a heat gun. Whatever you have handy and should dry within 15-20 mins maybe even less

You'll likely end up with the same issue again. Like he said, the lights need to breathe. They'll need to draw air in after they've gotten hot to keep from imploding (watch the Mythbusters episode on the imploding rail tank), and let air escape as they heat up. Moisture will take longer to escape if you use leds as well since theirs less heat to evaporate the moisture.
