Coming to this video to grab some basic stock footage for something im working on personally. But i cant leave without saying my God, how to people play like this? This is so boring looking compared to actually tanking. The Artillery Mortar truck is the only thing that keeps me from saying BF1 is a 10/10, even today
Because a mortar is suppose to operate from the back. Enemies couldve killed me. Im a vehicle player, so of course Im going to play a vehicle. And bf1 isnt good in my opinion. It has a battlefront minimap, cant sneak up on enemies if the minimap alerts you.
Because being a tanker with randoms is suicide. They can't aim for shit and never help with repairs, so your only option is to choose those solo vehicles and help out by yourself
Mortars are designed to be in the back, while the infantry push forward. Mortars in the right hands can open up holes for their team, if the team catches on and or works together. Mortars can provide smoke cover for advances or retreats. They can also prevent the enemy from moving or advancing. Mortars can chaos amongst the enemy. I was still within range for enemy players to kill me.
@@dajanitator9428 I can agree with your statement to some degree but overall the motar truck is better used for the defenders to take more tickets away from the attacking forces than to be used by them. The st chamond or heavy tank would be a better choice for an assaulting type of playstyle. But then again if nobody pushes what good is the motar truck to the team.
What people don't understand is that mortar trucks are supposed to stay back and provide supporting fire while communicating vital info to the squad (or team if they are on discord, etc). When I use a mortar truck, I try to communicate to the team (via team chat) or squad (via voice/team chat) where I am bombarding so that they can move to said capture/choke point. When targetting enemy armor, aim for their backsides. When targetting infantry, follow up your airburst rounds with smoke, then gas. Make sure you watch out for flankers with explosives! Good video.
The problem is most of y’all don’t “communicate “ they just sit back there the whole game missing most of their shots. While a heavy tank or something useful is actually helping out the team
@@DryHotDabs No. Because you HAVE to move around the back lines trying to take out their tanks, or providing area denial to advancing hostile players. Again, when I am moving and engaging, I communicate with team mates.
I sit near the base with tunguska in bf4 golmud and nobody can take me out yet i ruin the whole enemy air asset because i can actually aim. Only a very high skilled attack jet pilot can do it. The enemy sometimes resorts to jihadi jeeps but you can see them from a mile away once you get used to people trying to take you out the cheap way
I love being mortar. I tried being a tanker but the randoms can never aim and the supports dont carry wrenches anymore so i always die but with the mortar truck i can actually be useful. (Plus watching them all cuss me out is fun too😂)

You should've seen how the support class airburst mortar worked before it got nerfed. 😊 (I believe it got nerfed a week or so after BF1 was released)

Git good with it noob
Mortars tend to suck in every other game mode but can be insane in operations.
they would not last long in conquest
Also rush

A noob truck player
Hiding in the back (Spawn), doing nothing for the win, farming kills -> nobody need such a "Team-Mate".

@@buckshotthegoofball7671 I totally agree that the mortar truck is better on defense. I prefer to use it on defense.
lmao you thing mortars supposed to push?
Lmao, farming kills is a way to help the team you fucking moron
I wonder how many kills that bomber plane guy got
He went 174-27
Behold one of the most useless players in bf1

@@DryHotDabs Not me. I spam the team chat whenever I'm bombarding an objective. I also notify my squad mates via voice chat.
@@dreddy_g you don’t get bored sitting in the back playing connect the dots? Cause that’s what motar gameplay is

I enjoy doing this with the tank fun times
You play just like me. I always hide and take out outposts
I hide were the enemy can't get you when you spawn from the beginning.

Why do you think you need randoms? Clearly aren’t good enough on your own.
