- In 2020, we quit our high-tech jobs in California and moved to a sailboat full-time in Medeteranniann. We just started cruising and exploring the world and experiencing life by living on a sailboat. In this sailing vlog 2021, we will share our experiences as a sailing couple on CZcams who spends our first year sailing extensively throughout Croatia. We will document our experiences, costs, and travel discoveries throughout our sailing journey. Croatia offers some of the best sailings in the Adriatic and sailing in Europe
Wow cruised Croatia in 2006 just stumbled on to your channel. While doing our 12 day trip Dubrovnik to Havar and back on a brand new 323 we met a couple from Vancouver who were in year 2 of med cruising their 40ft older elan. Sure got us thinking 😆. We’re in the Bay Area👍. Loved Croatia only ran into 4 Americans on our trip. Owen Wilson had a beer with him he was solo just hopping ferries traveling. Very very drunk Nick Nolte and a son / father from NY. Nick Nolte was also by him self and blitzed out of his mind. I asked if he knew where he was going? He stopped looked at me and asked if we knew each other. I told him I was from back home and knew him and told him no biggie just wanted to be sure he was ok. He laughed and had me point him in the direction of his hotel and thanked me. LoL
Cool. You don’t see many American cruisers in Croatia except charterers. We spent 18 months cruising only met one American couple on their motor yacht
