  • Another one taken from VHS, young owners talk about their Austin A 30 and A35, its nice to see the younger generation getting involved with classics.
    Note the indicator switch high up on the centre of the dash, not self cancelling , actually i have one of those switches in my Austin 7 for the trafficators, i was unable to get the proper one. The A30 was originally called the new Austin seven as were early Austin badged mini,s......since posting I have found out the chap with the green A35 is Alex Menzi, ...and Mark Stokes with the A30

    Yep that was my tweed grey A35, still at the mo got my other A35 I spoke about. This was filmed around 2001

    Wonder what's happened to the green A35, untaxed and last tax due 1st Sept. 2004!! Great film.

    i had one from 1965 to 1972. i removed and tuned the engine for 90 bhp 8500 rpm which gave 115mph and 53mpg

      @@jackflashvintagemotoring7586 yeah I remember a little bit about it, the a40 somerset coupe is my dads, he's still got it, was also in the famous 5 program. It's probably been scrapped unfortunately, we can't remember anything about the person who we sold it too

      So the somerset is your dads, I bet the A35 is gathering dust somewhere, these videos where on VHS so must be quite old now, mid 90s at a guess
