- Johnny most calls Larry Bird's amazing baseline buzzer beater vs the Blazers in 1985. Bird takes the in bounds pass, fakes, falls away and swishes it to give the Celtics a 128-127 win over the Blazers.

I just love how cool Bird is taking that shot, like it was no big thing. Just put it up there, won the game for the team and shrugged it off. There's something so admirable, yet heartbreaking about it. That's one of the things about greatness, I suppose. Very little you do surprises you, I guess.
That gave me chills... those were the good old days. Larry Legend!
Yeah, those are the words, it game me chills.
The raspiness in Johnny Most’s voice, is what makes so many of his calls iconic! 🔥
I remember watching this on TV as a 12 year old Blazers fan. Bird was magnificent down the stretch
Loved Johnny Most. He was a true gentleman with a wicked sense of humor.
So awesome the realness of Johnny, got to love it.. BiRD was and is and will be top 3 NBA players !!!
Johnny Most is the GOAT.
"Bird from the corner!!!"

Wow- thank you for posting this!! I miss Johnny.
Announcer is amazing
The first time I heard Johnny Most, it felt almost cringey to me. But over time, as I’ve heard more & more of him, & learned about him (from his book & in other books), I now get a warm glow, like reconnecting with a favorite family member or old friend. He’s as much a part of the 80s Celtics as the players, and it’s a beautiful thing 🥰
Loved Johnny Most, he bled Celtic Green!!!!
This guy is and always will be one of the best basketball players ever to step on a court
Bird upfakes, Bird takes the shot ...... Its good, its good!. Oh my goodness I can't believe it, it is good from the corner, oh my! What a magnificent finish to this ballgame. Bird, Bird from the corner. Bird did it!
🐦 😆 👍 🏀
Beautiful
best shooter in the history of the NBA, sorry ray
damn that was so true in 2012 when you posted this... But Stephen Curry changed everything
MJ might have something to say about that.
Imagine how dominant Larry would be in this "can't touch him" league of today.
Larry Legend, baby. 🔥
It was a beautiful thing
like a chimney. :-)
The 1986 Boston Celtics were the greatest team of all time.... 5 hall of fame players with bill Walton coming off the bench.... I had the pleasure of meeting Johnny most incredibly nice man And absolutely loved the celtics.... I still think bird was the greatest passing forward in NBA history....
Johnny Most the Best.
the announcer johnny most has always been bonkers as a celtics reporter. so intense. lol
can anybody tell me where I can find more games announced by Johnny most CZcams has Maybe 4games that he announced and they're not even full games
How did Johnny manage to not destroy his voice during his career?
@JayGatsbyOdysseus Bird is nailed on for top-5 and is arguably the g.o.a.t. It has nothing to do with skin colour.
GOAT 🐐
@igotgame247 The name is BIRD.

Uh...I will let myself out.
Did Johnny smoke? (;
Yes he smoked a lot. That's the reason why he died.
@@SlickNickVids he lived until he was 69 years old... unfortunately, we all have to die from something... remember No one here gets out alive
@@stevegallant3395 Eh, just stay healthy and anything is possible, lol
As much as I love Larry Legend, Bill...I'm pretty sure that you have to take Jordan in any last second scenario.
Not if you are Pat Riley.
Nope, Bird for the win.
@@moona7744 You're too late, I died of old age.
Jesus Christ how I love the Celtics. My favorite team but I absolutely hate Johnny Most’s voice. Can’t stand. Just ruins it for me

jazzalex22 I loved the hawk!
George Blaha is good
Joe thiesman was terrible too.
Stacey King is fucken horrible.
How could you? Unlistenable.
Larry Bird was a great player. However, he is not the greatest. I would put him in the top 10. I think a lot of white people fall in love with him just the same way a lot of black people fall in love with Obama. It is a similar phenomenon.
I would gladly go to a game with Kobe, Michael, Lebron, Steph or Durant. But Larry I would be the one I would be excited to see. It's not soley because of what he would do but what he would do to get his teammates involved. The man was just fun to watch for all around skill sake. Lebron is similar.
You are a loser!!!!!
No we like him so much because he's arguably the greatest all around talent to ever play the game.
From '84-'87 he averaged at least 50/40/90 shooting, 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. During that same time he won 2 championships, 2 finals MVPs, 3 consecutive league MVPs and 3 consecutive three point shooting contests.
