Loveeeee this! Started a cosmetic line for myself and working on creating my lipgloss, Coming across your video gave me more insight on do’s and dont’s especially for when making the clear gloss. Very helpful , very inspiring and very informative! I know when creating lipgloss especially for the first time they’ll be some mistakes made but your video allowed some mistakes that would’ve been made, to be prevented!

I LOVE this video! You and me both have suffered long and hard with lip gloss mistakes, LOL. Well done presentation. So much sticky and colour. Using plastic on everything is essential. You might be able to get a lip oil gel in those tiny ones with a coffee straw maybe? Hate that you bought 50 and now have to use them for oils only. Maybe cut the tube in half so it will fit on the side (maybe it will work). Big doe foot and chubby tubes are the BEST. A scale will help you with quality control. Pick a tiny watch scale for your colorants. Put a zippy bag on your scale or it will get in all the nooks and crannies and you will have a very colourful (dirty) looking equipment. It is so hard to clean up! Speaking of mistakes, my first lip gloss (I was 7 years old) was made with sunflower oil, cinnamon and honey 🍯. I thought it was the BEST lip balm ever (hey I was 7) 🤣.

I was eyeballing it. When you make lipgloss you have to create a formula that will work for you and your brand. We can’t all have the same formula, it won’t be unique. This video shows you what you need to make lipgloss and how to make it.

Secondly, what exactly makes the gloss sticky?
You can use essential oils in a clear lipgloss. Don’t use flavour it will give it that milky colour
If you use less oils your lipgloss will be sticky

After making glitter lip gloss will it separate with time
Hi love, with the right formula it should not separate. If you leave it for years then it will go bad I recommend not using the product by then.
If it's too thin with too many natural oils it will separate.

Not a preservative its an antioxidant. It keeps oils fresher longer.
