  • In this video we discuss how Sedona just regulated how many RV's can actually boondock on 525 now. Looks like RV Boondocking might be a bust for 2022. Is the First Come First Served in Yellowstone going away? Who's looking for a full time job in Yellowstone this Summer?

I was there this weekend and that’s already in place. There is only 3-5 different camp areas on 525 so good luck finding space to camp.

I’ve been back there, and it certainly is a beautiful area. What I see for the most part are the vans and campers coming and mostly being respectful with the land. I always try to pick up trash in my area and make it better when you leave it. It’s the ATV’s that are causing 95% of the dust. Hundreds of them go by every day. If you stay there you can’t even keep your camper door open because of the dust they kick up. Of course those ATV rental places bring in money to Sedona, and the RV’s probably don’t bring in as much. It’s all about the $$$$$$$

I guess we're overdressed if we had a blue tarp and a shopping cart from Safeway they wouldn't bother you.

one change that is coming is within reservation system is, a point system, no shows will get a certain amount of bad points and cancelations will get a few bad points. you accumilate so many bad points they cut you off the reservation system.

Assuming they care. They’ll just put it in another name. Would like to see something where you could reserve a spot based on site where if they no show, you get a txt or 24 hour notice that the site is open and you have 30 mins to accept or decline. Something like that.

All is well and good until people get involved and seek their own personal benefit and enjoyment, without any consideration for others. If we all had a more “service” oriented approach to life, we would all benefit and enjoy life more.

Utah Jeff….. here …..very informative…. Seems like this could hurt Sedona area …. Less people will come …. Less money coming ….. dust is a climate issue everywhere….. no rain will cause dust

Well, 10 years ago there were zero ATV’s out here. Now there are hundreds. The “Off Road” enthusiasts come out here for n the thousands. It’s actually been the opposite. More off roaders than RVers. We’ve always had blowing dust out here, but now it’s worse with all the activity. Most of this really comes down to impact and what they see as 5-10 years beyond.

I like CZcams however one of the main things I dislike is one good romanticized vlog will bring in people by the droves and that special spot is no more. Happy RVing ✌

Hi, live in arizona, and since all these CZcams, bragging about these places being free ,is going to bring attention to people that don't like anyone getting free ,plus the amount of people advertising where. It's going to ruin it on people that have been doing this for years. And look it has , next will bet. Th.e national forests. I been doing this over 30 years in az. You tubers ruined it on everyone ,just to brag, and make their videos. We hate the idea of what's been done, and I'm sorry anyone that has put their locations and free ,in their videos, it's your fault.! So the ones that have kept quiet about it quiet for years ,we thank all of you. And one more thing it's not only,is it the dispersed camping. It's these places like a swimming hole or falls, that we in arizona have used for decades, haven't closed too. So places we went with our grandparents, now stopped for our grandchildren. All because of people not useing common sence. By advertising brings in the onesthat do not respect the places. And that is beside how it brought crowds now, which brings garbage left ,harm being done to land, people being drunk and having accidents ect.
I say thank alot to any person that has made videos bragging about these places. Now you know why sometimes you come in an area ,and your not liked much,or plain)y don't want outsiders there. Because of those few that can't respect the place and have to brag and pass it on, all you have done is cause these places to no longer use. Our grandchildren thank you!
