    Also, no, you didn't see Big Ben- Big Ben is the name of the bell inside the tower that rings, not the clock face itself. So really, it is pretty big considering it's a bell.

    • @lucyjayne7531
      @lucyjayne7531 Před 8 lety

      littlemisst24 they do seem very similar over here, but the only difference really is just from where on the pig it came from. I can't really remember the taste of either of them, so idk about how different they are in that respect. And gammon is also pretty popular over here (idk if it is in America) but that's ham that's been smoked and cured in the same way as bacon, so that doesn't really help with the similarities

    • @lucyjayne7531
      @lucyjayne7531 Před 8 lety

      KawaiiSakura98 I can't really argue on taste since I don't eat American or English bacon, but yeah I'm pretty sure English is healthier due to the lack of fat. But it does seem like streaky bacon would be awkward to eat since surely you'd need to cut the meat away from the fat all the time?

    • @KawaiiSakura98
      @KawaiiSakura98 Před 8 lety +1

      +Lucy Jayne not really the fat isn't the same texture as the gross rubbery fat on stake or something. It's mostly the same texture all around and you can't feel the difference in streaks unless you take the time to eat them separately. The taste is amazing though if it's good bacon and cooked just right (not all flappy but not burnt to a crisp)

      Chips aren't chipped potatoes. If anything, the American version of chips is more accurate because if I were to take a knife and just knick off the side of a potato, it'll look more like an American chip (what you guys call crisps) than a European chip (what we call French fries). You actually have to go through a lot to cut fries/chips into their shape so it isn't just a chip off the potato. But chips/crisps are chips off the potato because all you have to do is like scrape a small piece off the side or something and it'll look like a chip/crisp.

Like literally those questions were just a couple brits asking about why americans do things the way they do, and implying that its 'wrong' because from what theyve learned, a chip and a fry arent the same thing.
      take this example; the indonesian word for water is 'air', and the english word for, well, air, is 'air'. If an indonesian heard you say 'i need to breathe air' im pretty sure theyd be confused as hell and is sure that that is wrong.

But still I'm incredibly confused why you took a simple piece of debating strategy as an insult, and why you felt the need to insult my mental ability (which may I add is not low, in fact on the contrary) in the section of an online video. If anything, you replying to me, insulting me for adding information, is pointless as it is on the topic of something menial and unimportant. Note: I have an IQ of 145 and read into areas of physics when I'm bored, for example how thermo-nuclear-dynamics affects plasma mechanics, and how to utilise this, which I don't think is practice for people of a inadequate mental ability, which may I add is an abhorrent way to speak to people. @aquandarylife88 Před 8 lety +9

      +the3pic1 We don't. Freedom is just a huge part of what our country was founded on, as we are a new country, it's a close as we come to tradition. Although, I don't know what's so free about the USA anymore. We have more people in prison than any other country on earth....
