A well the ''joking nature'' was lost on me in this one, Which is odd because i could tell that the British in the other video where joking, Yet quite a few of these people seem very serious and i can only tell with one of them that they are joking.
Mona Lisa Maybe because they haven't been made yet. If you go to any discussion board where it's England vs America, everyone gets defensive.

+Samantha Faulkner The worst thing is that Americans think that Europe is a single country 1:06! WTF!
Fun fact , after the revolutionary war they changed how things were said . The americans called things different things to that which they were already called. I dont mind this and it never bugs me at all but tbh if something has been changed from the original thing and its been called the same language i think that , because it was a sudden choice, it is petty and that kind of does make it wrong

Because Brits are better and you know it
im asian XD
+Sassy Potato If you haven't seen "Brits Have Questions for Americans," maybe you should. This was just a defensive move--a reaction--to the last video which was even more offensive
Sassy Potato Me too and I am French. 😂
I'm a vegetarian, and even I know that English bacon is better 😂 because American bacon is 'streaky bacon' so half of it is fat- English bacon is pretty much just meat.
Also, no, you didn't see Big Ben- Big Ben is the name of the bell inside the tower that rings, not the clock face itself. So really, it is pretty big considering it's a bell.
How do y'all differentiate between ham and bacon? It seems like y'all think it's the same thing.
If better you mean "healthy" then I agree with you but in terms of taste that stuff can't compete with the amazing taste of American bacon
littlemisst24 they do seem very similar over here, but the only difference really is just from where on the pig it came from. I can't really remember the taste of either of them, so idk about how different they are in that respect. And gammon is also pretty popular over here (idk if it is in America) but that's ham that's been smoked and cured in the same way as bacon, so that doesn't really help with the similarities
KawaiiSakura98 I can't really argue on taste since I don't eat American or English bacon, but yeah I'm pretty sure English is healthier due to the lack of fat. But it does seem like streaky bacon would be awkward to eat since surely you'd need to cut the meat away from the fat all the time?
+Lucy Jayne not really the fat isn't the same texture as the gross rubbery fat on stake or something. It's mostly the same texture all around and you can't feel the difference in streaks unless you take the time to eat them separately. The taste is amazing though if it's good bacon and cooked just right (not all flappy but not burnt to a crisp)
as a British i my voice is so British i talk and someone’s always like “are you British?”
They're not correct

About the chips... We call chips, chips because they are chipped potatoes. Why do you call them fries? Is it because they are fried? Then why isn't bacon called fries? On the subject of bacon, our bacon is about 3 times larger, has a higher percentage of meat and is of higher quality. American bacon might as well be pure fat.
So true!
The reason we call crisps crisps is because they are crispy chips gosh
+Tn7mu3 Depends on the bacon you get tbh
+Tn7mu3 ...That's why our bacon is better. 'Merica!
Chips aren't chipped potatoes. If anything, the American version of chips is more accurate because if I were to take a knife and just knick off the side of a potato, it'll look more like an American chip (what you guys call crisps) than a European chip (what we call French fries). You actually have to go through a lot to cut fries/chips into their shape so it isn't just a chip off the potato. But chips/crisps are chips off the potato because all you have to do is like scrape a small piece off the side or something and it'll look like a chip/crisp.
It genuinely concerns me how bad Americans seem to be at Geography. Like how on earth can you mistake Europe as a single country? What the hell are they taught in school? Hahahaha
+Ciára Hunter I am genuinely concerned that you have such limited experience with jokey/sarcastic humans, that you thought the guy in the video who said that was being serious.

Ciára Hunter Why are you so bad with picking up on sarcasm?? I just asked you the question...so, guess you're guilty, right? Do you accept that British people have horrible teeth? I've heard people ask "Why do British people have such horrible teeth?" before, numerous times. He was absolutely being sarcastic, and I am bewildered that you can't tell it. Why is it that British people are incapable of telling when anyone other than British people are being sarcastic? It has to be true too, because I've seen it enough that I've been compelled to ask the question.
Dane Potmo Ok LMAO why are you getting so hyped up about this come on, a 13 lined comment honestly like? ahahaha
Ciára Hunter"hyped up"? You simply lack skill when it comes to reading why, and from what emotion, Americans say or express things I can tell. "Have you ever thought maby you're wrong?"
Well no as England has been around much more longer than USA plus some of our words originated from other countrys like france, norway and others.
Britian has been around longer to develop the ways of saying it, americans just changed it for some unknown reason. after the indipendence of the USA
Nobodies wrong just because britian was around longer than the us doesnt mean our way of saying something is wrong
Random Person I think America has been around for 243yrs and England (maybe Britain too) 1000+yrs the difference is huge

Why are you so bad at geography? "I don't know, why are you so bad at stereotyping?" I was like 😮😯ooooooo
And I'm neutral in this since I'm Canadian
GOOD at stereotyping. Not BAD
That was the best line ever!!!
+CANADAWOOOOOOOOO Nice stereotyping of all Americans, kinda disproved your point huh?
Adrian Rodriguez don't pretend it's not true.
I thought the Americans just answered the questions in similar way to now the British asked them - sarcastic and jokingly - perhaps each just doesn't get the others humor?
Yeah that seems about right, I do like dry british Humor but find the American one somehow more aggressive I guess
@@wowanothercookie It is, because it's written down. And I seen the attitude from the British video to be aggressive; maybe as aggressive as the people in the "31 questions feminists have for men".
Yea. Brits are funnier
@@olivia.lambert nah mate, americans are way more funnier and can make a joke out of literally anything, the brit questions sounded more serious but the americans in this video were funny af

1:25 how are they wrong they made the language lol
England didn't create the language it's west germanic. Apparently
The English dialect we know now was developed after 1800, and the American dialect has remained stagnant and about the same for centuries. This means, roughly speaking, Americans' dialects, specifically southerners, are the "original" English language.
Britain's : I'M SO FUCKING OFFENDED
Americans, me: um did you see the questions you guys were asking? kinda rude.
+Sophia Fox they're questions for a reason. as far as i know, questions and rude, salty, and passively saying that america is better than america is two very different things. Like literally those questions were just a couple brits asking about why americans do things the way they do, and implying that its 'wrong' because from what theyve learned, a chip and a fry arent the same thing.
take this example; the indonesian word for water is 'air', and the english word for, well, air, is 'air'. If an indonesian heard you say 'i need to breathe air' im pretty sure theyd be confused as hell and is sure that that is wrong.
and the answers that they have answered back is a lot more ruder than the questions as far as i remembered.
also; its *britains not britain's
Sounds like your offended tbh haha it's just banter mate
Ik so many Americans are gonna hate me but your biscuits are wrong because biscuit means cooked twice from the Italian "Biscotto" and that's what it is......
+Sophia Fox There was no offensive questions, just two or so. But the entire answers were offensive and rude, except of Ashyl's because of the question. And the guys were saying "Why are you stereotyping, and pick on America." Their answers show why the ENTIRE WORLD does so.
PS: I'm not British, and I personally felt the answers were offensive and rude.
Lol I doubt the offended Brits had anything to do with the questions that were asked...
I'm British and I found all the people in both videos really rude (apart from Ashly) most British people and (I'm guessing) Americans, aren't really like this.
It's a joke, they wanted to come off as aggressive cause they're savage
I think the Americans were trying to be funny while the Brits were very stereotypically curious
Check the previous video
+Ellietwinklestar I'd say the tone of the answers match the tone of the questions if you watch the previous video.
Same except in American

Big Ben is actually the bell inside the clock tower.
ikr I was thinking:
no, you can't have seen big Ben, can you see inside the clock tower? wow that's clever
And people are suppose to just know about that?
+Felix Marome you are if you make an opinion on it, generally it's good to know what your talking about. Not to mention, when Big Ben was built it was big.
I dunno maybe don't name it big ben
+Felix Marome Why do you feel the need to put people down, I was simply adding to a point, which contrasted your opinion; I said that more often than not it is good to read up on the things you are unsure about, as not to make factual errors which leave your point open to counter arguments. But still I'm incredibly confused why you took a simple piece of debating strategy as an insult, and why you felt the need to insult my mental ability (which may I add is not low, in fact on the contrary) in the section of an online video. If anything, you replying to me, insulting me for adding information, is pointless as it is on the topic of something menial and unimportant. Note: I have an IQ of 145 and read into areas of physics when I'm bored, for example how thermo-nuclear-dynamics affects plasma mechanics, and how to utilise this, which I don't think is practice for people of a inadequate mental ability, which may I add is an abhorrent way to speak to people. *Why are you so bad at geography* Americans getting offended
The next guy: *why do you view Europe as a single country* “is it not a single country?”
The girl who was like "why are you so good at stereotyping?" When literally just before a guy said we're obsessed with tea and crumpets, huge stero type.
But here in Britain we are obsessed with tea. Perhaps not crumpets, but tea, yes.
+Soy Waz *dumps all my tea into my bathtub with war cries*
+Soy Waz I'm English and I hate tea. Also are Scotland and Wales also obsessed with tea, because if not then it isn't Britain is it
+Rammy the logophile Not sure about the Welsh, but in Scotland we drink lots of Tea. We don't eat Crumpets though.
SLUGGY1990 I don't eat crumpets much either. Don't know anyone who really does
Why do Americans get so offended?
+R20966 Well, one reason we are offended by Britain is that Britain is calling us an abomination, even though we were a part of Britain. I don't know about other countries, and its mostly by white people who lives in neighborhoods that don't think about other races or countries, and so when other countries "offend" them, its basically a slap in the face
+Happy I never knew that Britain could speak, and it's even using words like "abomination" wow that's great for A SMALL LAND MASS
lol
Cause 'merica
lol
This is exquisitely racist to Britain
Why can't you just accept British differences

My question: why do Americans think that only the USA has freedom and no other country
+the3pic1 You realize that there are over 300 million of us and that most of us probably don't think that, correct?
They don't have any freedom. No country has freedom. I think most of them realise that.
we don't, but at least we CAN own a gun and have power
+BecauseWhyNot I go to America to see my cousins and yes I know this could just be a small group but i brought Irelands freedom as that is where I live and they had no idea that it was free and I kept saying them and they knew 3 free countries including England
+the3pic1 We don't. Freedom is just a huge part of what our country was founded on, as we are a new country, it's a close as we come to tradition. Although, I don't know what's so free about the USA anymore. We have more people in prison than any other country on earth....
1:17 Big Ben is actually talking about the Bell not the tower. No the tower isn’t that big, the bell however is Farley large compared to the clock and tower.

He...meant like specialty bread. Like, bread known singularly as invented and made by Britain. I thought that was obvious?
But you have to see that the bread in England is not very nice, as well as American bread. German Bread is way better and they have more variations... ;)
+Laurin Hawkridge I live in England but I have to agree that of the bread does taste horrible

Wow why did they choose the most stereotypical and butthurt people for these types of videos?
edit: I’m American and buzzfeed is just trash, most Americans & Brits (who don’t work at buzzfeed) are fine with each other & there are plenty of things we like about each other. Also btw how brits use ‘fairy lights’ instead of xmas lights is goddamn adorable
"Scones & Jizz". Yeah, that's what they call "Biscuits & Gravy". Sounds like when someone ejaculates onto a scone, and gives it to someone to eat. Gross.
