i love it personally but being realistic, the anti cheat will be really bad and there will be a lot of issues with compatibility and bedrock players will lag a lot. even the staff mentioned that bedrock players will experience lag.

I'm asking this as a genuine question, because I'm actually curious, but why did you get upset about Tubbo ratioing you? He has more followers and in the sc provided it seemed like he was genuinely curious about why you thought TubNet's anticheat would be bad.
Also, since you asked, Tubbo might be Tommy's friend but their style of content is very different, so I disagree on the whole Tommy is the clout creator and Tubbo is the clout chaser thing. They just have very different approaches when it comes to content! Tubbo loves streaming (he's been really busy the past few months with TubNet and hasnt been able to stream recently tho, so do keep that in mind) and he also prefers the old-style minecraft lets plays (you can see this on his other channel "The Lets Play Channel"). Tubbo also really loves his chat while he streams and you can tell that if you watch any stream of his. So its very different from Tommy, I'm not denying that Tommy's growth had an impact on Tubbo's influence, but claiming that he is a copy of Tommy feels very disrespectful.
I'm making this comment in good faith because it really seems like you've never watched Tubbo's content, he despises p2w servers and is really passionate about minecraft in general, I'm not saying Tubnet will be perfect, but instigating your viewers to cheat on a server that isnt even out yet seems... Biased?
If it wasnt a server made by a big cc im sure no one would be making content like this (and im also aware that the server wouldnt be nearly as famous from the get-go, but still) dont you think that just as stans are assuming the server will be good because they feel like they know Tubbo, you're assuming that it'll flop because you think you know him as well? (since you assumed he's a tommy clone how can someone who copies content make a good minecraft server?) Just something to think about.

The only way for TubNet to actually work is to invest into every aspect of the server anticheats, gameplay experience, etc and I mean really invest and to make sure that the lead creative director doesn't cut corners to make it as good as possible and don't forget Tubbo is still a teenager he could get absolutely ripped off by the devs and just pull a pump and dump on him

Bedrock: Longer reach than Java users (self-explanatory)*
Java: Sneaking resizes hitbox to 1.5 in height (pvp and trapping advantage)**
Bedrock: Hitreg (self-explanatory; not referring to Java hit cooldown)
Java: Knockback (snowballs send BR players flying; Java players will hardly move backwards)
Bedrock: Mobile players can hit in a direction they aren't facing (mobile is difficult enough tho)***
Java: Larger base of modded clients (not necessarily cheats)
Scaffold will be harder to detect
*Easier to use reach cheats on Java safely
**Can use cheats on Bedrock to change this
***Easier to use closet killaura on Java safely
Edit: Packet modification means you can pretend to be on either edition
They will literally have to spend tens of thousands of dollars to program an anticheat that will work around all this

You can literally fly and infinite aura on bedrock servers the bedrock players are gonna break the server so hard and I doubt it’ll even have good DDoS prot

A very good way to fix this problem is for it to be crossplay BUT there is different regions 1 region could be bedrock only another could be mixed and another could be Java only
that ruins the point, its cross platform so they can play together, like im on java and if i wanted to play with a friend on bedrock this is the perfect server

@@karmatick4418 too long didn't read. Bedrock bridging is easy java is hard. Bedrock hitboxes are different bedrock kb is different. Based on that you can create thousands of bypasses (ac=anticheat)

I have seen how much servers tubbo payed in both java and bedrock and some have cross platform servers as well. I think I heard the thing that made bedrock to be compatible to java in him as well,. so I am sure he is aware.
Cheats is definitely hard to fix, even hypixel and even other games, there is just no way to fix this issue. I don't know what type of moderation will tubbo use to prevent and to make a robust and fun experience on tubnet but I trust him as someone as famous as tubbo , as eperienced as tubbo on servers and such would not be able to have the testing for this stuff, we all kno fundy m that guy uses hacks codes mods, minecraft and very knowledgeable on the code, he is a friend of tubbo and he is just one guy of an example tubbo could ask to help make the server robust.
I don't think tubbo would announce something without a plan, a good enough result to release on public and embarass himself. the issue is hard to fix but if he could and did make a way to still make it fun and proven by testing to be cool and ready, I don't think there would be much roblems yet. in the end we will just see how well it deals with the issues in its launch

I don’t think it will fail just because of the anticheat and how cheater infested it will be. It’s probably gonna die in like a week (if it’s lucky) and have to shut down. I don’t have much proof other than that’s what happened to Bajancanadians server. (It lasted like a month despite having a ton of hype at the start) lunar practice season X lasted like 2 days before it’s playercount fell below what it was before the update (partially bc the update was kinda bad) but my point is that servers that are really overhyped like this and have their peak playercount on the first day of their release don’t last long. But hypixel which started off small and grew over the years has lasted for a long time and is still thriving today. Mineplex even though it did eventually die out (though not completely) it lasted for years. You can even see this with CZcamsrs. Usually CZcamsrs who grow extremely fast also have their channels die extremely fast or at least their views become nothing compared to what they used to be. My point is that things that grow fast die fast and usually the initial hype isn’t enough to keep the server alive. Also this server seems like it will be really expensive to maintain so they will probably have to start making money quickly before tubbo runs out of money.

the pvp and bridging might have fixes to make it similar across versions of the game,watchdog will be different / a different anti cheat system to hypixel and might not work well at first but so was hypixel and it worked kind of.
can people stop being annoying about tubnet and how it'll 'take over' bc its just tubbo and his creative team wanting to show off their ideas, and run a server...
it'll either be a fairly fun server with like 10,000 tops or flop, WHO CARES

crossplay is gonna suck. if you try to use java edition pvp techniques in bedrock you either trade or get comboed, and the reach is different on both versions. bedrock has scaffold and theres gonna be so many ban evaders since you can make infinite xbox accounts for free. for the same reason, theres gonna be so many crappy names with numbers at the end and inconsistent spacing. and yeah, there are spaces in bedrock edition names. pretty sure you cant use any commands on java with names that have spaces.

Im on team hypixel, but yeah, crossplay is bad, because everyone can just jump bridge over to you, whilst in java, you actualy have to be good at the game

Yes and no, hypixel recently patched a bunch of bypasses wait until rise 6 to actively use it to closet/blatent. The closet side probably won't get you banned but if ur gonna closet use vape or some other ghost client

If you dont want to get banned use 3.1-3.2 reach 14-17 auto clicker 85-90% velocity

I only played once on a Bedrock/Java Crossplay PvP Server but as an Hack Client Dev i can say that a Java/Bedrock Crossplay anticheat would be the worst in existence. It took me on another Crossplay Server, which closed by the way, 10 minutes to make a Fly which bypassed, hell most of the time Vanilla Fly worked. 8 Block Killaura, no problem, 20bps speed, eZ, Scaffold, of course, click tp, sure. If Tubnet will actually be PvP Based and have crossplay it would be 3x more cheater infested than hypixel. You wouldnt even need to buy paid clients, old clients from 2018 or selfmade client could easily bypass.

I run a server with Java Bedrock cross play. You can easily disable bedrock bridging. And anyone can make a better anticheat than Hypixel these days.
