1. Unbelievably quiet this year. It appears that the owners who rent out their properties for others to run shops or restaurants or guest houses etc have suddenly raised their monthly rent several times.... very high prices this year . They probably thought that this is a normal year for the first time after Covid so they can get away with any price..... some financial rework needs to be done I suppose.
2. White Plate is run by Chef Jason DeSouza who has taken fine dining to another level ---- pricing too to another height !!!😃
3. Good to spot familiar places like Cafe Chocolatti, Horizon Grill (1:08) , Johns Boat Tours (2:38) , Nitendra -- a popular bar with international tourists ( 2:41), Delfinos, Cafe Jazz, Jambalaya, Mango Grove, Annapurna and many others.... really feeling good.😊
4. Grab For Less is an amazing chain of shops which sells clothes at very reasonable prices. There are two of them in this video -- one you mentioned , and the other a little ahead near Akhilesh Rockys jewellery shop above Baskin Robins . Their main store is behind the fish market at Mapusa --- we go there every year and get loads of stuff !!!
I didn’t believe the comments till I actually checked. The prices ridiculous. But instead of promoting other countries would prefer people to promote beautiful places in India. Hopefully people come to their senses and get the prices in Check.
I am visiting Goa year since past 13 years , but treatment received from people and police was humiliating especially after looking at the number plates of the vehicle , also rates of the hotels are gone sky high e.g for propeties we used to stay for 5500-6000 are quoting for 18-20k / night now.. beach shacks owners where like if you can bill up to 2000/- then only you can seat here , thats why decided to visit international destination this time.

I used to visit Goa in December. But for the past couple of years, I chose May, right before the season ending. Everything will be cheaper, and there won't be huge crowds. I'll stick to it in the coming years too.
