as a child of a Danish rock dad, I grew up with volbeat and this is one of my fave songs besides shotgun blues, and I am ALSO obligated to BELCH the Danish part when it comes on the radio ^^
"For evigt" = Forever. Song basically a power ballad about the possibility, that the one you hook up with tonight.... and when you open your eyes in the morning it might, maybe, be the one you you wake up with forever and walk with forever along the same road.

He even said he wrote Dead But Rising after he was driving to go see elvis house but got lost and an eagle (probably just a hawk) started flying with him and guided him to the road he needed to be on and he thought it was his dad reincarnated guiding him to a place he always wanted to see

Nice reaction to a song, you don´t see many reactions to. I used to live right up the street from Johan, way back in the late 90´s when his band Magten´s Korridorer were just breaking through and since we had a few friends in common, I also talked to him a few times. Really nice guy, who deserves his success all the way.

This is actually a great song. The only problem with it is Michael Poulsen the lead singer. Cause if you listen to any album of theirs he sounds exactly the same. And it gets pretty tiring listening to him, the lyrics and the songs are great, but you just get tired of his voice. Johan Olsen who sings the Danish part on the other hand, you never get tired of him. He is what really makes this song great.
