Dipper is the best character. I love him. I just love how he treats Mable. Even though she's selfish and always seems to put him after everything and everyone else, his first priority is to make shore she's safe. He's always pulling her out of danger and when somethings going wrong, his first thought is, "I've gotta make sure Mable's okay!" When Gideon had both of them caught did he say, "let me go?" No! He said, "Let go of her!" He is the best brother and the best person ever.
I think that was the point there were going to be some people that would be like they're not in numerical order plus there is the message at the beginning of every weirdmageddon episode that when reversed its Bill saying I'm watching you
The fact that dipper is still sad at the end of this video demonstrates one of the reasons why gravity falls was so good. It really understood its characters and how they would actually act, as if they were real people. Dipper just had that light-hearted moment with Wendy, they're still friends, they were literally just laughing and messing around with each-other moments ago. But as she leaves, he still feels sad. I don't know if other shows would do that, I feel like they'd just cheer him up and move on. But thats not how it feels to be in that situation. It just makes dipper so much more relatable and his character so much more realistic.

Honestly, I know I might sound like a broken record here, but Dipper is honestly one of the coolest and most relatable characters in Gravity Falls. We can all relate to having a sibling with different interests than us and that they can sometimes think only of themselves and that causes a bit of a rough spot. But we realize we love them and we'd do anything to protect them. Even punch a boy in a giant robot suit in the face. It's nice to see that self-sacrifice, an inquisitive mind, and a knack for following one's passions isn't truly lost. We all have a little Dipper. No matter our interests or our backgrounds, we can all relate somehow to this softspoken, sensitive young boy with a killer left hook and a thirst for knowledge. Truly, it's amazing.
