Aboriginal people don’t believe in possessions or ownership of land, so there’s nothing to give back. They are the most advanced and most highly attuned to nature culture in the world.

In this manner we parleyd with them for about a quarter of an hour, they waving to us to be gone, we again signing that we wanted water and that we meant them no harm.
'....would change the course Australia forever'. But it was not 'Australia' then. It was a land of many nations with different languages and customs. It would have been more accurate to say '....would change the course of their land forever.'
