I grew up in this beautiful place, played as a kid on those rocks and hills. Kurnell, a Sydney treasure.

The shield that was shot though is somewhere in the British Museum apparently. It belongs back with the Cadigal people of the Eora nation. Give it back, it belongs with its Aboriginal people.

Aboriginal people don’t believe in possessions or ownership of land, so there’s nothing to give back.
They are the most advanced and most highly attuned to nature culture in the world.

Why was this left out ?
    Just saying
They calld to us very loud in a harsh sounding Language of which neither us or Tupia understood a word, shaking their lances and menacing, in all appearance resolvd to dispute our landing to the utmost tho they were but two and we 30 or 40 at least. In this manner we parleyd with them for about a quarter of an hour, they waving to us to be gone, we again signing that we wanted water and that we meant them no harm.

'....would change the course Australia forever'.
But it was not 'Australia' then. It was a land of many nations with different languages and customs. It would have been more accurate to say '....would change the course of their land forever.'

The audio quality of your narration is very poor.
