The disappearance of Andrew Gosden is also worth a mention. Two men believed to be connected to his disappearance have just recently been arrested after years of no leads. It's unfortunately most likely a case of human trafficking.
I remember Asha Degree. I don’t think her case got enough attention. Bless her. You should do Rhonda Hinson from Valdese, NC. Unsolved murder, police cover up, preacher gone bad…
I agree, I wish the Rhonda Hinson case would get some much deserved attention. I know what I've heard about it and yeah saying it was a "police coverup" is dead on..
Richie's story hit home for me. I self harmed as a teen to avoid doing harm to others and I rationalized it as being a logical thing to avoid consequences of criminal assault.
I wrote poems I never shared and created a story world I never told others about at for some reason keeping a good secret made keeping the bad ones easier to live with.
That dude sounds like a member of my soul tribe. Hope he found his way to some kind of happiness in this life or in what ever comes after.
Joel has it figured out. A very smart man. He reads us a “bedtime” story and we fall asleep. We want to know what the stories are about so we listen a second time. Two listens, one person!! ( no, not THAT video-mind out of the gutter please) Great work, Joel!

Sounds like Richie took his life. He said that he previously didn't think of the S word because he could handle pain, but deep depression can be more about an empty feeling and a lack of feeling; a "what's the point?" kind of thing.
Yep. I think the fact that he clarified "as far as having a plan" is really important. To me that said he DID consider taking his own lfe, he just didn't have a plan. It doesn't take too much to go from thinking about it to planning it.
Very sad and I hope he's at peace, wherever he is.
