The Gates of Istanbul,
The Highwayman,
Never-ending Road (Amhrán Duit)
A Moveable Musical Feast is a unique souvenir of Loreena McKennitt's 2007 An Ancient Muse tour and offers a rare backstage look at one of contemporary music's most interesting live performers. Through candid interviews with Loreena, her band, crew, fans and professional colleagues from the Canadian music industry, we gain insight into her career, work ethic and the artistry that has been the foundation of her remarkable musical journey. Loreena and her fellow travellers entertain us with stories of how her show 'goes up', discuss the joys and challenges of their nomadic life when 'on the road' and share their thoughts on the creative relationships they have with each other, the music and the audience.
QUINLAN ROAD / LOREENA MCKENNITT: While we periodically reach out through social media, it’s something we do by default. In general, we do not endorse social media. Since 1998, the unregulated era of technology has all but decimated traditional media, which we feel is more accountable to a civil society. We’re also learning that digital technologies are responsible for 4% of greenhouse gas emissions, a figure expected to double by 2025. We therefore plan to continue advocating for a responsible and accountable media in whatever form that may take. In the meantime, we encourage you to stay in touch through the closest and most direct method possible, our email list. loreenamckennitt.com/community/ - Hudba
Truly an Angel - Thank You, Loreena - God Bless...
Eis uma artista cujo talento permitiu trilhar um caminho único. Saudações e bênçãos.
Thank God I when I saw her live in Chicago I loved loved loved the live version of Gates of Istanbul and am glad to see it somewhere again.
Increíble. La voz de Loreena es como el viento del desierto cantando de viajes que no duermen.
İstanbul konseri için final sınavlarımı yakıyorum az daha ama Allahtan yetişebilsim o muhteşem ana tanıklık etim.
This and Nights from the Alhambra should be recommended for any of her fans!
Thank you! You make this word a more beautiful and happier place!
Mesmerizing! To have such a beautiful voice is an amazing thing.
To also be one of the most talented musicians & songwriters on the planet is incredibly rare & unique...
¡FELICITACIONES!
I love Loreena´s music! And I started to read Shakespeare since she began to sing about his work. Please Loreena, keep on singing more about Shakespearse, maybe a Sonet...or something of Yeats. Thank you for singing for all the world!
I MUST HAVE THIS DVD!!!!!!!!!
2020...still adore her
I'm so pleased you have made more videos available. I have not been fortunate enough to see you live though I wish I did. Your music is refreshing and astounding. Thank you!

Loreena, você é fantastica!
It's brilliant! :D You'll love it! I've watched mine three times so far *got it yesterday* and today let my history teacher borrow it. The Highwayman made me cry. It's a very interesting watch.
This is how emotion is expressed in one word.
Her voice is so perfect.

hey what can I say but beeeeeeeautiful!
hi there mothball1972, the name of the instrument is cretean Lyra or in Turkish Classical Kemenche but name of the guy is not Sokratis Sinopoulous, his name is Stratis Psaradellis, i just wanted to correct the message below, they are awesome and as a Turkish man I am so honoured with the name of this song THE GATES OF ISTANBUL!!!!!
Очень расслабляет ☺
Wow I love it so much, thank you Loreena and QR!
damn you politics.
Greeks and Turks are brothers and sisters. We have 300 years of history together with joy and pain; but this is our history. May we all find peace one day in politics too.
Barış elini sen ne kadar uzatırsan onlar o kadar seni sevmez dostum, bırak öyle mutlu olsunlar
Demais gosto muito das musicas dela
@ Picco Bow: Loorena's music has touched so many people in so many different ways. I think we have to remember to put our emotions aside and actually recognised her true talent. It sounds as your comments are personal, get over it and enjoy her amazing music.
gran Cantante

Oops I wrote wrong "Shakespeare" on my last message.
Same reason why the news rarely reports the truth
@athas23 Who said Psaradellis is Turkish? or who said Lyra is Turkish? why unnecessary nationalism? I love this music no matter who plays or no matter what plays!!!
no doubt Turkish & Greek Culture has lots of similarities there are things Greeks got from Turks and there are things Turks got from Greeks, I do not mind at all, that is how culture is being created. I said I am only proud of the name of the song as a Turkish man, I dont think you would say İstanbul is Greek too...
more than music, is the character of one the way treats others-music should convey love joy and comraderie. Loreena has a sure fire way to hide behind the fake mask of her music- not blaming her music of who she really is. a backstabber to a couple of her unfortunate friends who had done nothimg but support her in her travels.
Love this woman and her music but lord the audio quality in this is absolutely unbearable. A constant hiss at all times just ruins it
2008, sorry
Too bad tht beauty and talents masks true character
Switching is not nice!
