- Yesterday I got an email asking for a tutorial on this left-hand part- I've had many many emails requesting this, so I decided to make a tutorial video to explain it.
It is based on the guitar-based boogies from the 1950s - Magic Sam, John Lee Hooker, Little Junior Parker all made tunes with this kind of beat.
Check out "Magic Sam Boogie", "Feel So Good" by Junior Parker and "Boogie Chillen" by John Lee Hooker for examples.

Thank you very much !! After 50 years of listening to boogie woogie, this two new left hands fascinated me: Key Engine of Luca and your Talking Bout The Boogie !

Awesome to check this out. I can not express how much I appreciate these lessons, even going way back a couple of years when you showed different styles of left hand boogies. Thank you
Everything you do is inspiring. I particularly love you in St.Pancras. it brings back memories of living in the East End of London in my youth and traveling via Pancras. Thanks for all you give to us!
You have a heart of gold. thank you so much.
Great lesson. Well done. Thank you.
Hello from New Jersey Henri. Love your playing. I bought a keyboard 3 years ago and I'm teaching myself to play. 🎹 👍

Good Lesson Henri!
Thank you for your excellent playing and very good explanation of how to play left hand patterns. Like your voice and accent too.
Don’t think I would ever have worked this out. So how much do I think it’s worth…priceless!
Unfortunately times is hard - this should just about cover a coffee! 🙄😂

Wow!!
Excellent video Henri. Can you post a tutorial for those of us who are struggling with hand independence? What I could really use are some drills of some kind. My left hand is okay and I have a few patterns down pretty good but when my right gets involved at some point I crash and burn. I've seen that you great players have left hands that just seem to run on their own and I'm sure that has taken years of practice to get you there. Can you offer somehelp?

Yourself said it already. There is no shortcut, continue practicing
