I think he love Catherine of Aragon the most because if he didn't they wouldn't be together for 20+ years. Henry was so obsessed of having a male heir and was pressured at the court that he needs a son for an heir. For Anne Boleyn, it was an infatuation because she was young and he was thinking she would've give him a son. At first he just wants Anne to be his mistress but Anne wants more than that and because of the pressure at court, he annuled his marriage with Catherine to be married with Anne. If he had a son with Catherine he wouldn't have other wives. If he loves Anne, he wouldn't have her beheaded. For Jane Seymour he maybe loved her but not that much. He was just pleased of Jane because she bore him a son. But eventhough he was married with Jane, he still has his mistresses and wouldn't want her to be involved in National affairs he always reminded her what happened to Anne. He loves Jane because Jane was bound to obey and serve Henry and was a good wife to Henry and a good stepmother to his daughters. He grieved and mourned for her death because she was the only wife who bore him a son. If Jane didn't bore him a son and lived a long life, he would've divorce her or have her beheaded as well. But all in all Henry is a selfish and self-centered man who only thinks of himself. He really never loves his wives, he only loves his hunger for lust and himself. That is a fact.
Yes!!! All of this. Even historians widely agree that Katherine of Aragon was the wife he loved the most. Her only downfall was she didn’t have a son. He is even to have said that “she was the model wife in every way except one” (not having a living male heir) Katherine did in fact have a son Baby Henry, but he died a few months after birth. Anne was an infatuation and lust. He never wanted to marry her until she didn’t put out and promised him a son. I think he did fall in love, but I don’t think it was as epic as everyone says or he wouldn’t have tired of her after 3 years of marriage. Anne was a smart and sophisticated woman yes, but she had no idea what it meant to be Queen. She did do some good things for the poor and stuff. At the end of the day tho she was way too opinionated and Henry did not like that. The final nail in her coffin was not having a son, but that’s not all it was. The only reason Anne lasted as long as she did was because Katherine was still alive. He couldn’t be seen tossing her aside and admitting her made a mistake while Katherine was still living. I truly believe that Henry’s early reign was so good was because of Katherine, she helped him rule and he did listen to her most of the time. She was very good a placating him and calming him down. She also put up with his shit. I believe he even said if he had to do it all again, he would have still chosen her.
yeah, I feel like he only loved Jane because she give him something that he has been wanting, why would he be married to Katherine for 24 years even though she couldn't give him a son and then he choose to execute Anne Boleyn because she couldn't "give him a son" he could've stayed with her much longer and with Jane, I doubt he'll be faithful to her even if she lived
I mean yes, Anne did not want to be a mistress, but she also knew that any sons she did give him could never be legitimate unless she was queen. Henry knew this as well, he was just also horny.😅
@@Tocasofia1552 Catherine of Aragon was a Princess of Spain. He couldn’t do that. That would have meant war with Spain. They were very powerful at this time. Same with Anne of Cleves. Not born royals, so he was able to execute both wives and get away with when he wanted to be rid of them.

@@Tocasofia1552 Simply surviving doesn’t automatically make someone the favorite. He was a psychopath who only cared about what was convenient for him. He did like her as a companion and stepmother to his children. She was seen as more “on his level” after his marriage to the teen bride Catherine Howard, who he executed. For Catherine Parr (survived), he almost had her arrested and she would have been executed for heresy, if it wasn’t for her quick thinking and intellect. His Catholic advisors didn’t like her bc she was Protestant. She was very smart and would write religious books and they didn’t like that. She was almost arrested, but her quick thinking allowed her to be spared at the last minute.
@@Tocasofia1552he beheaded Catherine Howard and Anne Boleyn. Anne was executed on trumped up charges of adultery and treason. Catherine Howard was having an affair with Thomas Culpepper, but she was also sexually abused while at her stepgrandmother’s and used as a pawn to make the Howard family more powerful, just as her cousin Anne was.
I think he likely would have stayed with Catherine of Aragon if she'd given him a son. He was obsessed with making sure he had an heir to secure the family line but they had a stable marriage for many years and got along well
They did had 1 son but he died after 52 days old at the beginning of their marriage if he had lived he would’ve been older the Mary Tudor and he would’ve been king Henry XI when he Henry XIII died
@dinahn6955 King Henry's father, Henry VII, never had a known mistress. He was in love with and devoted to Elizabeth of York. Too bad his son couldn't learn from his parents' example and be a better husband and father.
Its weird because I though it was Jane Seymour, since Henry wanted a heir and had only had daughters before and Jane gave him a son. Also unlike any other wife, he actually mourned her loss.
Yes, Jane Seymour was actually the favourite. Henry chose to be buried next to her - which must have been quite a slap to both Katharine Parr and Anne of Cleves who were still alive, but I doubt either of them cared to have his 'love' at that point! Henry tired of Anne Boleyn even before the accusations started. I'm sure he loved her initially, but not the most. He was far more upset about Katheryn Howard, initally refusing to believe the reports of her infidelity whereas he was delighted to get Anne out of the way, so I decidedly disagree with the ranking that he loved Anne more. He actually spent the longest time married and initially very happily to Catherine of Aragon, until their inability to conceive a son together destroyed their relationship, so I'm inclined to believe he actually loved her best after Jane. Of course he never said anything about it so we can only speculate the exact order, but Jane being the only wife he mourned and chose to be buried by is pretty conclusive evidence she ranked first with him, however the others did.
@@cmm5542 he had Anne beheaded by sword though (if I’m wrong forgive me I’m working of history from yr 8, which I vaguely remember), she was also accused of being a witch because she had six fingers. He accused her of bewitching him whilst he was married to Catherine of Aragon. While he had Katherine Howard executed by axe, which would’ve hurt a lot more. So it could be speculated that he did love her until the end.
they aren't this video is terrible, yes in the series The Tudors then that was the order that the writers seemed to believe but it is far from accurate. They make Catherine of Aragon out as if she is 10 years only hen in reality she was 5. And also saying that this show depicts Henry's early reign is false too, it only starts in around 1520, 11 years after he was crowned early definitely!!....... I'm a huge Catherine and Henry believer but this show couldn't be bothered to show there chemistry or even any point were Catherine was pregnant. The do no justice to her, and there is so much that should be done
@@Maryannvargas-qo1pi Same for catherine of aragon, the only reason he divorced her is because she didn't give him a son, all he ever cared about was having a son
Henry never loved Anne Boleyn. He wants Anne. But he don't love. He did not regret killing her. He likes Catherine Howard because she was young. He said his best love is Jane Seymour. The Second is Katherine of Aragon. And I think Katherine Parr like a friend for him.
Agreed. I honestly don't think Henry really ever wanted to marry Anne at all. He wanted her as a convenient, temporary mistress but she held out. And he knew he would never have a male heir unless he divorced Catherine and married SOMEONE, so why not Anne who he currently wanted and couldn't have? He rejected her far more rapidly than Catherine when Anne also failed to have a son, that was all he cared about her for. Katherine Parr I think Henry actually valued, on some level. With Katheryn Howard it's difficult to distinguish how much he loved and how much just wanted her. And a serious question whether he would have still loved Jane Seymour if she hadn't had a son . . .
@@Blah740 Oh, I agree that he loved her at first. I just don't think he wanted more than a romantic affair between the two of them till Anne made it clear it was marriage or nothing for her. It was normal back in those times, they had a different perspective on life. If me and you were brought up in the same time era, we would see it as normal. Stop comparing ancient culture to 2024 culture. If you think Henry was bad, then you need to hear about the vikings.
Henry loved henry end of story He divorced Catherine cause she was old and didnt give him a son in all 24 years of marriage. Beheaded anne cause she didnt give him a son. He threatend Jane seymor while they were married and whenever she did something he didnt like he'd compare her to anne or catherine and say they never did that, and he still took mistresses while with her and honestly everyone saying she gave him a son, even after that he still remarried to get more didnt he. Anne of cleves after the divorce they formed a brother-Sister bond, but it was really only for politics and to keep the love of germany as she was a princess so he couldnt behead her unless he wanted war. Katherine Howard he loved she was young and loved and was grateful to him (she also never cheated she was Sa'ed and raped and they made her ladies lie that she had other men) Catherine Parr honestly was basically his mother she took care of him and his children and then after he died she re- married and helped her new husband Sa Elizabeth. And stop believing every show you see about the Tudors because its not true you guys are taking random facts from inaccurate sources and passing it off as the truth, the tudors was a very interesting show but it was not accurate not even the casting was accurate and it exaggerated loads of the relationships
Yes, King Henry didn't love anyone but himself, not his wives nor his children. Not even Prince Edward. He only saw the boy as a means to continue his lineage but he ironically died young and so did Henry's illegitimate son. Catherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleaves were foreign princesses in their own right and Henry couldn't afford to cross their powerful families. Catherine Howard probably did cheat with Thomas Culpepper but I don't blame her. If she had only been a bit more patient and wanted for Henry to die like Catherine Parr did before going back to her own lover, Thomas Seymour.
I think it was Katherine of Aragon. He was married to her for over 20 years and they did have children. She was the most dedicated to him and England. Even in death she visited him, and chastised him about Mary being abandoned and not married off. She made sure he and Anne knew she was his true Queen and loved him dearly. She stood by him in battle and defeated their enemy. He just wanted a male heir..i feel for him the pressure put on him by the courts and his fathers legacy after Arthur died; but i do feel for all his wives and children.❤
He likes Catherine Howard because of her youth and because she was easily manipulated. Catherine Howard in her early childhood was subjected to sexual harassment and assault by men who had power over her. She was used multiple times even at court which led to her death. People say she truly did love Henry with all her heart but when he was gone from the palace people would often corner her and it’s assumed that many people at court again sexually assaulted her.
Uhhhh no. He horribly took advantage of Katherine Howard, and same with Anne. His always said his greatest love was Jane Seymour, but it's also clear that he very much loved Catherine of Aragon, as they were together 24 years. Katherine Howard had been sexually abused and used from the age of 13. She was around the age of 15 when he married her! He was 49. Even back then, this was a pretty drastic age difference. To posit that he loved her really at all, is ludicrous, as the only evidence supporting charges against her was a letter, but a letter that could've easily been between close friends, or that was the result of blackmail. She didn't even get a trial! Anne Boelyn was also used. And if he did ever love her, he certainly seems to have forgotten that upon having her beheaded for charges of which there was no proof.
I agree with everything you said, except for him loving Jane the most. I don’t think he actually did, I think Jane have him a son and that what he wanted, so of course she was perfect right, also there is the fact she didn’t really live long enough for him to tire of her. I think he love Katherine of Aragon the most. If she had a living son they would have lived “happily ever after” PS. If ol Henry is in the after life I wonder what he thinks of his precious boy barly making a dent in the history books and his “stupid girls” made it all over the history books!!! Girl power y’all
I think he did like Anne Boleyn cause he actually cared enough to give her a quick death by sword with a skilled executioner but Katherine Howard on the other hand..
Anne being #1 on this list is imo ridiculous. He tired of her after 3 years of marriage, he obviously didn’t love her that much. He wanted her as a mistress and she was like hell no (it would have ruined her for someone else.) Katherine didn’t have a boy, Anne was like Ill give u a son and she told him about how he could be head of church and state. So Henry was like sign me up. Henry never believed in the reformation it just got him what he wanted at the time. He was a catholic until he died at heart. The only thing about Catholicism he didn’t like was the pope was above him. Thats why he never completed the reformation in his reign really. 1 thing is for certain if Katherine had a living son Anne would never have happened.

I think it’s Jane Seymour he likes the most!Jane gave what Henry wanted which was a baby boy;sadly,Jane died from illnesses 😢 Rest In Peace Jane Seymour (and Anne Boleyn,Catherine Howard)Henry executed/beheaded both of them 2
Forget it, at least Henry didn't cheat when Anne was pregnant, and Jane had a relationship with the maid before three months, fortunately Jane was pregnant, otherwise this short marriage could not be saved
I just had this really weird thought of my head but like what if Anna of cleves and Catherine Parr had 4 daughters that just we're like those for wives💀
Note, he’s buried next to Jane Seymour; he’s one of the only monarchs (before the 1700s) not buried at Westminster abbey as a result. I think because she does so early on and gave birth to his son that arguably she’s be higher on the list. Certainly above Catherine Howard. I think it would be Catherine of Aragon first, then Jane Seymour, then Anne Boleyn, then maybe Catherine Parr who is often ignored among Henry’s wives.
Actually he may have loved Catherine of Aragon the most since his first intentions were on the marriage was to love. Henry wasn't always that horrible. Unlike his brother being raised by his father, he was raised by his mother along with his sisters where he was not only raised well but taught well. Teaching him how to be good and be respectful. Idk what made him become horrible but people say that he got his head knocked hard which what caused him to become that but I'm not really sure. Also the only reason why people say that he loved Jane more was because she was kinda getting the special treatments after having a son (she is still abused tho)
Catherine Of Aragon: married for 24 years Anne boleyn: married for 2.5 years Jane seymour: married for 1 year Anne of cleves: married for 6 months Catherine Howard: married for 1.5 years Catherine Parr: married for 4 years
I don’t know why but I really don’t like Jane.Seymour.IMaybe because I was a fan of Elizabeth 1,I really can’t imagine dad loved another women ,and cut off mother’s head. That’s crazy! And after mother dead, the second day he married with another queen. But I think Henry doesn’t like any wife,he only loves himself.
I didn't like Jane Seymour that much either. The main thing for me was, she KNEW playing coy and telling Henry she was waiting for marriage was how to attract him, because it had JUST happened to Anne! So it seems like a deliberate attempt to oust her to me. Anne had no way of knowing for sure whether her 'marriage or nothing' ploy would pay off (and it could be argued it really didn't), and her affair with Henry didn't start until after he had pretty much given up on Katharine of Aragon anyway. Not saying Anne was some complete innocent, but I think she was just trying to survive, not deliberately hurt Katharine. But Jane really didn't have that excuse. Henry and Anne had only been married two years; they still could have had a son and everything been okay (for a wife of Henry VIII, anyway), if Jane had stayed away or behaved like a normal courtier instead of the whole 'look at how pure and desirable and better than Anne I am' game. Fun fact: at her execution, Anne had a lot longer speech than is normally quoted in film versions, and she specifically said that she knew all along that just as she had replaced Katharine, she too might be replaced; and that Jane was basically the retribution for what she had done to Katharine. So she at least felt bad about it by the end; there's no record of Jane ever regretting she got Anne killed and little Elizabeth left motherless!
Honestly, I feel like he only really loved Anne of Cleaves and Catherine of Aragon. Everyone else feels like it was more a means to and end goal (a son). Jane Seymour literally gave him a son and she was still threatened by him when she was talking about being nicer to the Catholics (he told her to remember what happened to Anne). Even Anne, he discarded so easily once a son wasn’t produced within 3 years… Maybe I am just jaded, but I feel like Henry didn’t love any of these women the way we see love. I think the closest thing he can feel is a kinship that he felt with Anne of Cleaves or the respect he had for Catherine of Aragon (until she too couldn’t give him what he wanted).
Ok. So. Everyone saying “oh he loved Jane the most” yes but what if she didn’t have a son. Then what. Also Henry threaten her I forgot what I think something kn what happened to Anne but still. Also “Henry wouldn’t marry Anne” is completely false he wanted to Marry Anne he definitely loved her more then some of his wives if he changed religions and did so much just to marry her and make her his queen “ya but still” no buts it’s said he loved her, he stopped loving her once Jane came in the picture just like what happened with his first wife and the beheading was because of the false accusations of her cheating and sleeping with her brother, if they didn’t happened I be you he would have sent her off that he did with Aragon. Or maybe he wouldn’t but still it doesn’t take away the fact that Anne was one of his favorite and most loved wife’s
He did love Anne Boleyn…Because she made Him happy. He used the biggest sword that was made In French to use it to chop her head off because He loves her?(Thats weird way to show love)And Soon he regret it and puts the sword next To his throne,I didn’t make this up but history said it
No. Henry knew it was false accusations and she's not guilty of charges but he just have to get rid of her to marry Seymour(and mainly because she's a threat to political stuffs) so for the act of "mercy", he decided to sent a French executioner to execut3 her with sword. Much faster, cleaner and least painful than an axe.
I'm sorry but this is incredibly inaccurate. You're not basing your opinion on actual historical and contemporary records. Henry loved Katherine of Aragon as much as he had the capacity to "love" anyone. I don't ship them because of how he treated her and because I don't like him, but I believe they had a really good relationship at one point. For years, she was his lover, one of his best friends and his chief political advisor as well as being his queen. He trusted and loved her so much that he always asked for her opinion before taking political decisions and basically did whatever she said, even if his councillors disagreed. She was practically ruling the kingdom on his behalf for years. Henry loved studying with her, engaging in religious and intellectual discussions and saw her as his intellectual equal. They also shared the same hobbies and spent a lot of time together. They acted more like a modern married couple than a Renaissance king and queen. It might have partly been Henry's desire for chivalry and to play the hero, but that doesn't explain the fact that they had an incredibly loving marriage for years. The marriage did start disintegrating years before they separated, probably as early as 1519, but as late as 1525 there was visible love between them and Henry still used to enjoy spending time with Katherine. She was the only woman he never really got bored of even after being with for over 10 years. It was the fact that she could no longer bear children that made him completely fall out of love with her and seek to replace her. Anne, on the other hand, was still quite young when she died and had childbearing years left, yet he no longer had feelings for her and had already moved on without giving her a real chance to have children Anne had a lot of influence and power over Henry as well, but she never had 100% influence over him, politically or personally. He admired her intellect, high level of education and wit and loved having debates with her, but he never truly saw her as an equal, whereas he saw Katherine as someone above him. He told Anne to her face, while he was still in the peak of love with her, that Katherine was more worthy than her and always treated Anne like she was his subordinate. With Anne it was more the captivation the thrill of the chase rather than the actual marriage, which he didn't seem to enjoy. Henry's relationship with jane was more contented rather than the passionate love and stability he had with Katherine. Jane is one of my favorite wives, and i believe she was very intelligent and interesting, but Henry barely had respect for her opinions and treated her more as a subordinate, or rather as a typical Royal wife, than a lover. After his marriage to her, he saw two beautiful women and said he wished he'd seen them before. In fact I think Henry had poor taste here because jane was really quite great. Henry clearly had more love for her than the other wives upon his death, but the love he had for her never came close to what he had with Katherine With Katherine Howard it was more of infatuation and a desperate need to relive his lost youth rather than love. I still believe she was one of the wives he cared about the most though. I'd say it was Katherine of aragon > Anne Boleyn > Katherine Howard > jane Seymour > Katherine parr, and obviously Anne of cleves was 6
I agree with he list, but not in the love sense, but more like in a passion sense, he was most passionate and crazy about first Anne than Catherine Howard, the, Jane and lastly Catherine of Aragon. The guy's only love was probably himself. Also this list shows the more passionate and obsessive Henry is at the beginning, the worse the wife is treated when he is done with her, indeed the luckiest was Anne of Cleaves whom he rejected with lots of lavish gifts.

Im going to have to say it's a tie between Catherine of aragon & Jane Seymour. Catherine was a very beautiful smart warrior and also Henry was actually very patient with her during the still birth process. Its talked about enough that she did give him 2 living sons 56 days and one who survived a few hours after birth. Infant mortality was high back then, and he was more than understanding for a period of roughly 15 years. Catherine wasn't that much older than him but even though he banished her and really did a religious coo in his own kingdom to "divorce her" but he could of killed her for not taking the oath especially after he executed more & fisher. He let Catherine live. Was she the real love or was she the true threat of war Henry viii feared most, and somehow, he knew if he killed Catherine, Spanish forces would be on his island before he could blink? Maybe both? But he has often said that Jane was the true love became of Edward vi. It could be that simple Anne and Catherine howard were purely lust and anne of cleves was just too clever. Catherine Parr almost lost her head, but he needed a nurse by then. But she, too, was a very smart woman.
Jane Seymour might’ve been his favourite wife and even given a queen’s funeral and eventually shared a grave with Henry but Anne Boleyn showed Henry a woman can rule just as well as a man by giving him a daughter
Jane Seymour was not the only one who bore him a son, but Catherine of Aragon also bore sons, but they died. Of the large number of heirs, most of them died soon after birth, and the only survivor was Mary I Tudor, but Henry knew that the son would remain to represent the dynasty, and the daughter would marry and leave, so it was really useless to him. He read in the Bible that if your late brother's wife marries you, you are cursed to have no children. Henry didn't count on Mary because he wanted a son, and Catherine of Aragon was approaching menopause, so he had to divorce her in order to have a male heir, but the fact is that his next wife also failed to bear him a son and forcing her to give birth a male child miscarried with a male heir, I think, on the day of Catherine of Aragon's funeral and Henry saw it as a curse from his late ex-wife, so he executed Anne Boleyn, and he knew his reason for executing her was silly and beyond belief, so he accused her of adultery, incest and witchcraft.
Fun fact: Catherine of Aragon is Henry the 8 big brother's (aurther) wife but when he died (aurther) Henry the 8 married her in sake of their relationship with Spain
He definitely loved Catherine of Aragon the most, no question. This terrible TV show makes Anne and Henry have great chemistry but in real life it was Henry and Catherine. Henry truly loved Catherine for many years and as many sources have said he barely knew Jane Seymour and only really started "loving her" after her death but mainly worshipping her for doing what none of his other wives did. Henry chose Catherine out of love, the rest were just desires for a male heir. And Katherine Howard being his second favourite is far from the truth, he loved her age and fertitly. Personally I think her loved Catherine of Aragon the most then Anne Boleyn then Jane Seymour the Katherine Howard. If you can't tell Catherine is my absolute favourite ❤❤❤❤❤

Catherine Howard (He found her pretty and lively...he genuinely cried cause katherine "betrayed" him with her affair with Culpepper and despised her after.) 5th. Catherine Parr (Was quite drawn to her in the beginning and Parr used her wit to avoid execution) 6th.

Catherine of Aragon was a Princess of Spain. He couldn’t do that. That would have meant war with Spain. They were very powerful at this time. Same with Anne of Cleves. She was a German princess. She was seen as more “on his level” after his marriage to the teen bride Catherine Howard, who he executed. For Catherine Parr (survived), he almost had her arrested and she would have been executed for heresy, if it wasn’t for her quick thinking and intellect. She wa average looking in Real life but had expressive eyes.
Its weird because I though it was Jane Seymour, since Henry wanted a heir and had only had daughters before and Jane gave him a son. Also unlike any other wife, he actually mourned her loss.
He also told Edward that Jane was his favorite wife but maybe that was just to make Edward like him more
@@ZippyFromRainbow yeah like??

Catherine of Aragon wasn't much older than him, just 6 years
no it’s Catherine of Aragon. First
However, she abandoned it because she was no longer young, and then he turned to the arms of his new love
*HENRY VIII SAID IT'S JANE SEYMOUR HER FAV.*
Ironically it was his fault when they didn't bare him princes.

Catherine Of Aragon: married for 24 years

I think you got that right.
Bro he likes Jane Seymour the most
If Jane didn't have a son, she would have divorced early
the fact henry was such a lively and talented person, wedded catherine of aragon for true love, yet turned out like this is just shocking.
Even Anne, he discarded so easily once a son wasn’t produced within 3 years…
Maybe I am just jaded, but I feel like Henry didn’t love any of these women the way we see love. I think the closest thing he can feel is a kinship that he felt with Anne of Cleaves or the respect he had for Catherine of Aragon (until she too couldn’t give him what he wanted).
What about Anne of Cleves cause after the divorce she was referred to as the Kings beloved sister plus they struck an unlikely friendship anyways.

Ok.

Much faster, cleaner and least painful than an axe.

Also: is just like to say: Catherine of Aragon was frequently pregnant but Henry VIII was also desperate for a male heir
Jane Seymour is the only one he truely loved
He actually loved Jane Seymour the most
I'm sorry but this is incredibly inaccurate.
Anne, on the other hand, was still quite young when she died and had childbearing years left, yet he no longer had feelings for her and had already moved on without giving her a real chance to have children
Anne had a lot of influence and power over Henry as well, but she never had 100% influence over him, politically or personally.
Henry clearly had more love for her than the other wives upon his death, but the love he had for her never came close to what he had with Katherine
With Katherine Howard it was more of infatuation and a desperate need to relive his lost youth rather than love.
Yeah Anne of Cleves is the only one who won in this situation

Catherine Howard and Anne were actually cousins
It could be that simple
Anne and Catherine howard were purely lust and anne of cleves was just too clever.
Catherine Parr almost lost her head, but he needed a nurse by then. But she, too, was a very smart woman.

No, He loved Jane Seymour the most he chose to have his grave next to hers and was upset since she was the only wife that delivered him a boy.
Apart from her son and dying just in time (not yet to the point where he hated her), was there anything else Jane could say?
I still find it hilarious that Henry was so concerned with securing a bloodline only for none of his children to have children of their own.
I think he loved Catherine of Aragon the most
IMO I feel like coa was the most loved
Anne of cleeves my favorite cus she is pretty and Henry he is a moody old king
Fun fact: Catherine of Aragon is Henry the 8 big brother's (aurther) wife but when he died (aurther) Henry the 8 married her in sake of their relationship with Spain
I agree with this list
My personal fav:
ICH BIN ANNA OF CLEVES
JA
HENRY SAW MY PORTRAIT AND HE WAS LIKE
JA~
Jane Seymour he acutally loved the most
Catherine of Aragon lost her head first, no?
Edit: nvm, it was Anne Boleyn
He Fr became drake
I dont think he loved anyone-
He definitely loved Catherine of Aragon the most, no question.
He loved jeans Seymour because she gave him his most desired male heir
Anne boleyn yedi yıl boyunca kur yaptı sonra jane seymour adına onu idam etti, jane seymour kadın olarak değil onu oğlunun annesi olarak sevmiştir varisi olduğu için minnettardı
Actually Catherine of Aragon, his first wife, had give him a son too.
I personally think he liked Jane the most.
He probably hated catherine howard the most. Google tripping 💀 (no hate to Catherine but bro wouldnt even allow her last words to be remembered in history. What makes you think he loved her honestly. Same for anne boleyn. He tried to wipe her existence)
What show/ movie is this? And I know it’s six
It's called the Tudors xx
@@ur_fav_auburn_head thx

I think Catherine of Aragon gets too little recognition, they had the longest relationship
I love Tudor History
It's gotta be Jane
people rly just lost their lives like it was nothing back then lol even more so than now
"Jane Seymour the only one he truly loved"
Rude
No Pretty sure it's
1st. Jane Seymour (Asked to be buried next to her and she gave her the son he wanted so BADLY so he loved her for that.)
2nd. Anne Boleyn (Moved mountains fueled just for his lust for Anne and tried for years to divorce Catherine of Aragon. He cared enough at least to give her a quick death by sword by a incredibly refined/skilled executioner.)
3rd. Catherine of Aragon (Married to Henry for 24 years, they loved hunting and riding together, and rode in battles together.)
4th. Catherine Howard (He found her pretty and lively...he genuinely cried cause katherine "betrayed" him with her affair with Culpepper and despised her after.)
5th. Catherine Parr (Was quite drawn to her in the beginning and Parr used her wit to avoid execution)
6th. Anne of Cleves (Upon meeting her in person, Henry was immediately turned off by her appearance, however she gracefully divorced Henry and was friends with Henry.)
