    When I watch each episode, I walk away with a smile that I keep for days! Your openness, kindness and always the way you treat each other is so remarkable for these days!
    When you do get your boat in the water and the other adventures begin I’m so positive that you two will be the two out of the hundreds that more people will be ready to get off the fence and decide to buy “that boat” they have been dreaming about, just because of you two!
    Thank you for all that you do in showing us that: if you don’t know something, it’s ok! You have shown us that we can ask even strangers for their thoughts. You have showed us all how to get along in the world and stop all of the drama out there that as individuals we can.

    Hi Duca, It is better to install a temperature alarm on the exhaust this tells you right away if the exhaust temp rises . This means in case of a inlet blockage this saves your impeller and the first part of your exhaust hose. You spent a lard of money and this will save you a lard of trouble. It is not so expensive. I love your engine room and you made the best choice of choosing the engine brand. I was 36 years a Yanmar dealer and this engine will not let you down. Succes with the upcoming work.

    Definitely my favorite You Tube channel! Why? Because you two have an infectious personality that exudes positive vibes that really connects with the audience. Your content is engaging and I can totally put myself right in your position and imagine the challenges, solutions and obstacles. And finally, you do not use sex to sell your videos. Roberta is so refreshingly beautiful in her demeanor and smile, and her modesty in her dress simply makes her more beautiful inside and out. Please do not change that. Everyone else has thumbnails that are boobs, or thong bikinis and it just cheapens the entire video. Keep up the good work both of you. I have learned so much from your channel about what it takes to restore a boat.

    I like your attitude that, if better is possible, good enough is not good enough. On that loop for the salt water outlet from the exhaist, you may want to fit a syphon breaker at the top - a one way valve that will allow air in when there is no presure, but close when there is pressure in the su=ystem.

    • @OddLifeCrafting
      @OddLifeCrafting  Před 3 lety

      The problem is the rubber valve. We were afraid it wouldn’t support warm water. And will have one on the cooling hose before the engine so it will protect from water coming back. 😊👌🏼

Florida is the lightning Capital of the USA. Will you...on a metal boat...be installing lighting arresters and surge protection for the electrical systems?

      Our CO detector triggered a couple minutes after we hard a hard grounding in Tofino two years ago. An exhaust flange had flexed and its very small leak was enough to set off the alarm. Our detector screams, "Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep, Carbon Monoxide, Monoxyde de Carbone!" It keeps repeating the alarm until acknowledged. Worth its weight in gold.
