I knew Sammy in High school, its insane seeing these guys blow up 🤘🏼
What was he like then? I briefly interacted with him, he was really cool.
@@lynnpehrson8826 sammy has always been super nice, very funny, I’ve known him to be a really good skateboarder and a talented musician. We wore uniforms in high school, so from afar you’d think he was a nerd, but Sammy was just all round a very cool kid. I never hung out with him too much, but some of my friends and even some co workers at my current job knew him. The band is from Santa Cruz, but I’ve known Sammy from San Pedro, California cause thats where we went to school, in the Port of Los Angeles.
2:12 Love to see him holding the 58 to get the feeling right!!! When I was engineering I met a lot of singer/guitarists who had to hold their guitar in the vocal booth to get comfortable.
This band gives me so many Parkway vibes in terms of their demeanor. Good vibes and good music. Epitaph struck gold with them just like PWD almost 20 years ago.

Drain is one of those bands that just seems to hit for everyone except me. I’ve tried. Theyre like one of the few currently hyped HC bands that doesn’t do it for me. Just seems like very generic ass HC to me. Like it’s well done, I know that much, I have ears. Not hatin I just don’t get the excitement. I’ll keep tryin tho maybe it’ll randomly hit for me
it’s because Living Proof’s title track has a cowbell in it which makes it the best song ever made
