Shelly, I feel sooooo bad for Brinlee. I'm in her EXACT predicament, but WORSE!!!!! Let me tell you my story. First off...I love you all so much❤❤❤❤ and look forward to your videos every day!!!!
I am 44 years old and after 8 tries, I am FINALLY graduating college!!! I've had a traumatizing life and other things went wrong so it took me a long time to graduate!!!! My graduation (in person) is June 9th in another state (Chicago....I do online classes). I had my flight already paid for! My was walking my dog one day and when she saw another huge dog and vice versa, they were both trying to get to each other (my dog unfortunately doesn't do well with other animals....people yes, animals no) and she pulled super hard when I didn't have that good a grip and I ended up falling on my knee and backemwards on my left leg and then heard a lot of crunching noises (while still holding on to my baby). My ankle was sideways and hanging and flopping in the air! I broke my ankle in 3-4 places, 4 of my toes, and 2 places on top of my foot!
I just had a follow-up with my ortho and was told I can't longer fly because it increases the risk of me getting blood clots in my leg/foot/ankle. I am DEVESTATED because for the first time in my entire life, I was going to be able to walk across the stage and graduate! I am so sad and so depressed! I don't own a car (yet) so I can't drive and I can't afford to rent one. So now I have to have a virtual graduation! I'm so upset over this😢😢😢😢
I hope and pray Brinlee gets to go! Your family and Crystal's have been such an inspiration to me for the last 5-6 years (when I started watching your channels)! I have a son that I put up for open adoption. So you and Crystal have helped push me to finish my college education!!!! I want to say THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry about your injuries and that you are unable to fly to your graduation. What a huge disappointment. I hope that you are incredibly proud of yourself for this accomplishment and also for not giving up.
I don't know anything about your circumstances but, is traveling to your graduation by bus or train an option? I apologize for the unsolicited suggestion. I just really want there to be some way for you to get there.

Feel better soon Brinley. I have weak ankles because of the way my feet were when I was born and I roll my ankles so often. I rolled my left ankle last week thankfully it's better but I wish you a speedy recovery.

I pray that Brinley feels better soon. I’m sure the little’s will enjoy the first trip even with some being scared to fly it will be Okay the first time everyone scared. I was 35 when I took my first trip and even I was scared.
If you make eggs with heavy whipping cream instead of milk, and add some shredded cheddar and some salt…they turn out amazing!!

I used a knee scooter this year when I tore my Achilles and had surgery. It worked so well and I raced all over the house! The little basket came in handy too.

i kinda wish i had a pool, even an above ground one, i am familiar with them, i worked at the resort just down the road from me and part of that involved cleaning and taking care of the outside pool in the summer and the inside pool and hot tub rear round. worked there for 12 years. i didnt bother get the license as i was working under someone who had theirs, i had the chance to but it was a big book and i dont like reading that much.

I rolled my ankle back in 07. It hurt so bad! It was a second degree angle sprain.. she will have to wear a brace a while. Hope she feels better ❤

I had a knee scooter when I broke my ankle, but we rented it from a ThedaCare at home store. We got a wheelchair there also
I had foot surgery and loved those knee scooters. They work so well!

I had the knee scooter it was a game changer, I broke my ankle on New Year’s Day and was off my ankle for like 11-13 weeks and was in PT for another 12 weeks I hope brinley feels better soon ❤

Be careful. I was on a knee scooter and they can throw you off if you hit something with wheel it throws wheel sideways in front and you fall. I’m 62. Not good.

I'm glad you got something for Brinley so she can go with everyone. I was thinking you could've gone to a medical supply store to get a wheelchair or rollator. Sometimes perseverance pays off. I would've been so sad for Brinley if she couldn't go. Thank you for going the extra mile. I couldn't help laughing when Trey asked if he had to bring a bra😂😂. He's too much.
