How To: Activate Audi MMI 3G Green Screen

How To Activate The Green Screen On Audi MMI 3G & 3G+ With VCDS. For Vehicles With "CAR" & "MENU" Buttons.
We guide you through the process of how to activate the Green Screen or Development Test Mode on your Audi MMI 3G System using VCDS and then the correct button presses.
Please Note:
If you have a slightly older 3G system and don't have a "MENU" Button then press "CAR" & "SETUP" together and will do the same!

Hi, I have mmi 3g basic. The value changes and saves all ok, when I go back in it's still set to 1. But when i press car and menu I just get a message no further settings available. Any ideas?

Update on this, it was my fault pressing down the buttons, just needed to press them in the right combination.

This is only for the MMI 3G System. Not available on your platform.

My local garage changed the Channel 06 value from 0 to 1, but it would not save, no matter what he did. Any ideas?

mine click save button but didnt save aswell after i went home turn off car and restarded didnt work i buy odb cable 10pounds and do it miself with vcds lite

Here's to hoping this works ha, can anyone confirm if the 2013 Audi A5 sportback 2.0 tdi version can activate folding mirrors with this trick ? As my mirrors don't seem to want to fold by hand which tells me they are electronic
