The unbelievable cheek of the first guy - having walked in offering twice what he then backtracked to, then arguing the toss with only one offer on the table - fair play to him 😅
Normally I'd agree with you, but the thing is it worked. I've no idea if it'll take off, but the person with the most experience in that market bit his hand off.
@@thedoveston6781He should have given her a hug or a handshake at the end.
Cheek? This is business you fool. He negotiated a significantly better deal.
@@paullambert8701 Pretty sure the episode was shot around the pandemic, otherwise I’m sure there would have been a handshake
That's the way everyone should be. Guaranteed the types of offers they get at first are terrible.
Of all the things to upset Debra, who would have thought a crooked Christmas tree? 😂
There's some past trauma there to unravel for a qualified therapist 😂
Who is Debra?
@@simonjohnson9055 One of the dragons 😊
@@TheRealJellyBomb I'm familiar with Deborah but not Debra.
I was thinking every couple would be having that fight when they buy that product
Am I the only one who cringes whenever a a dragon shows a product malfunctioning and the entrepreneur says, “I haven’t had any customer complaints up till now?”
Do they truly believe any time someone has a problem that they will always go through the trouble of mentioning it on a website? It’s the same thing with restaurants on Kitchen Nightmares
She said it was a fair point and none of the women had an issue with it.
Yes 1/3 people who have had a bad experience leave negative feedback, only 1/9 leave positive
The language teaching lady was really sweet. It sounds like she's got a decent product and an actual market too. I hope she did well after all that.
She did, it's very successful
@@lyallreed439Good to hear 😊
Thanks for your updates I wish there would be updates on everyone. Many thanks to you ❤❤❤@@lyallreed439
Who else is head over heels in love with Sara?? I can't possibly be the only one ❤😅 What an amazing, good-natured soul. Her family and business partners are lucky to have her in their lives. Easily one of the best dragons ever on the show.
dont know about that, but shes a good solid northen girl for sure
Don't know about her soul, but I have a crush on her, too!
I wouldn't say no 🤤
@@paulgamble8531 Sarah Willingham was better
She is a breath of fresh air to the den, she looks abit daft but she really ain't 😂
Language idea is brilliant. Chidren learn very easily at that age. I learnt to speak two languages and understood a third one by age 4. My neighbour's child is fluent in three languages and is picking up two more at preschool.
4:43 he really tried to fly that fake patent over there heads 😂😂😂😂
The thing is that lots of those offers can't go through because all business owners and their businesses are scrutinized before any contract is singed and lots of them are not completely honest. Out of any deal that is made that you see on tv probably 1/3 doesn't actually get made.
@@JS-bh3pz This one was made
First guy was a great negotiator, he ultimately got Sarah from 35% down to 10% (assuming he reaches his goal).
I think you mean great manipulator...very dodgy man
Sarah cd see the potential on QVC, she just had Dollar signs in her eyes. The guy was creepy but his product was good.
That will go horribly wrong !
"It's not straight" is what every wife/gf is going to say if a guy buys that tree stand
All the Northern Irish guys on the show seem to be really cheeky
I have so much in common with that bronze medalist…I too have never won an event at the Olympics.
Me too. I have .never even been to the Olympics. Won nothing.
If it's not gold, it doesn't count.
A problem with Easy Treesy is that the market for live cut Christmas trees is going down.
it may come back. people will eventually decide plastic trees are bad for the environment or they want to bring the charm back to christmas with real trees or some such.
That definitely was Father Christmas.
Probably his grandson.
He promised he wasn't.
Sounds like something Father Christmas would say.
I miss the old and stressful music at the start of the show
Touker’s diplomatic and down to the point attitude is very refreshing.
"you cant have it both ways" but she can and is, that's the whole reason she is there lool
I the language teaching pitch a great idea we in England do have very poor linguistic skills getting kids at an early stage is a great idea!
There's something I really didn't like about that first entrepreneur. He seemed really untrustworthy. I hope Sara didn't regret the offer in the end.
Sounded like she's plugged in enough with QVC to know that in a flash in the pan that product will sell so she's got a pretty high likelihood of at least not losing anything. Assuming she gets her money back, she'll make some money on top of it on the flash in the pan and then probably exit stage right and sell her share.
Me too!! He was extremely unlikable and untrustworthy.
Why?
He's Irish he got his money
What he wanted
Your obviously jealous
agreed, he seemed quite shady.
42:34 Do people not realize that chemicals are not scary? Water itself is a chemical, composed of chemicals. And she says it can be used head to toe bc it's 'all natural.' Again, so much foolishness in these terms. Heroin and arsenic are natural, so is that the key to something being good? Many substances are great for beautifying that are synthetic, too.

300 quid for a baby bouncer, madness

Touker’s compliment to Sara starting at 49:32 is one of the most sincere dragon to dragon compliments I’ve seen on the show.

No, she didn't just say that. 😮 Ouch!! 🤕

For the 4th one it feels like all of them completely overestimate what 1 million views on tiktok means
TikTok is possibly the easiest social platform to get big on. 1mil isn’t something to scoff at, but it’s not enough
Peter Jones forgot to tell the first guy about his appearance and not bothering to put a suit on
Peter remembered it wasn't season 1.
@@TheManInBlueFlames appearance still matters especially when asking someone for money and to make a difference to your business
@@JL-gf3ycYes but he's since learned after being on the den for so long that some great successful businesses have been pitched by people not wearing suits. He's learned to listen to the pitch and evaluate the business first and if he likes it he looks past the clothes. @17:37 That Hi 5 from Peter was cool 😅
Lingotot - What put her pitch dead in the water was her projections for Dubai... First year 750k/ Net 500k... 😂 talk about dig your own grave, she totally lost any investment she would of got with such deluded figures.
Thing is though...the Middle East has a LOT OF MONEY going for it if you know where to look.
ESL teachers in Dubai make outrageous amounts of money. But you need the correct credentials for the job.
If you know the right people in the Middle East you can make millions.
Sara knows what she wants.
When I hear franchise I hear pyramid selling
I don't see why you guys give Jenny so much beef, her reasons are valid , analytical skills are incredible and she is good with numbers , hats off from me to this women , I wouldn't want to bet my money on a sinking ship or something I deem less than adequate.
Well I also feel like she probably wants long-term investments that she can stay in.
She doesn't want to do the thing where she's investing in a bunch of products she doesn't necessarily believe in but she knows she can come in there and find a way to turn the profit on the short term and then sell shares lol.
I agree with you. And for that reason, I'm out.
I don't think the never ending joke even is rooted in reality? She's not the dragon with the least deals per episode?
It’s a joke really. Mostly why a lot of them are puns.
Why does Evan almost exclusively say Pizza Jones?
The first guy was a tool I would have told him to get lost
I like the first woman who invested. Really liked how they came to a deal
So the Teacher wants to operate a learning centre for children, which have been operating in Hong Kong (where I live), China, Singapore, Taiwan etc for the last 100 years! 😆🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
That lady irritated me
An early language development centre would actually be huge here in the US. A lot of us can't read good and stuffs.
Haha, the first guy was incredible. I can't believe he got away with that. I had to watch it twice to check that I didn't miss anything. That was so cheaky. :)
The kiddies are so precious.
Is that last one embezzling, I wonder?
You shouldn’t be buying your children’s toys based around your adult interior design interests 🙄
How painful was that eh - giving away a strategic figure prematurely.
Emotion is a double edge sword.
Brillent deal
Ugh that last lady who made that baby product. "It didn't look like my house anymore" Yeah that's because it isn't only your house anymore. It's your family's house. And it's not like your baby is selfish trying to take over your life. You signed up for that. And you know what a baby won't enjoy? A baby product that looks like a coffee table for adults. I might be getting a bit too annoyed but that whole pitch was yikes.
Yeah. I understand wanting fewer cheap plastics and whatnot. But surely baby products are to be engaging, stimulating and colourful. It kinda comes with the territory that the home is going to be impacted. The amount of baby stuff sold in grey and white tones "to fit in with your decor" just confuses me a bit.
Absolutely agree, it’s definitely giving crunchy beige vibes. It didn’t seem focused on the child at all. But then again, I’m not a parent lol
She didn't want to use a skin product with chemicals in it? I don't think rubbing a vacuum on her skin will do much good.
If I made a product I would probably try selling it on Amazon or ebay first before creating an entire company around it
The first guy was so creepy
Like ur mother
Aren't the entrepreneurs allowed to bring notes with them? In real life do pitchers bring notes? It seems silly not to allow that. No one relies on memory in real life, we have phones, laptops, paper notes, etc.
That first guy is painful to watch
1:00:09~ When she says that she got a good 6 years out of a plastic product, you can see on the pitchers face that they are internally screaming "BUT ITS PLASTIC!!! THAT MAKES IT AUTOMATICALLY BAD!!"
the amount of unintentional puns in the first pitch...
Good work got to 10% win win every one is happy….the winner is the Irish man…
Also the whole tree stand thing is a buy once item too wouldn't buy one annually....surprised that wasnt also pointed out...and id never put a glass of water next to a huge bundle of cash im far too clumsy 😂😂 tell me you're a millionaire without telling me youre a millionaire lol
It's not real cash.
Layla Moran at the end did well.
How did it go with them - was a success or not?
I just LOVE Sarah Willingham
Peter’s fountain pen! Pretentieux, lui???
What did they "uncover" with 4° / "Dehlicious Skincare" ?
Any else find the close ups of Deborah twiddling her fingers really annoying.

She talked about a team, could she have paid salaries apart from herself?
Debra is on the show for the glass of water 💦 oh and saying no 🎉
Noel Marshall? Why doesn't he just sell his lion preserve to raise the money?
Debra's excitement is just contagious! Such a good character...
Those toys should cost no more than 200.
1:08:00
Deborah knows..
The US market for Noel will be huge. They pay so much for healthcare, fitness is vital to them.
do these Guppies know what the word "uncovered" means?
4th one. "Contains no chemicals". So you're selling 100% vacuum....? Everything is chemicals 🤦🏼♂️
Why do Dragons refer to "smell"? Surely the word is "fragrance", instead.
Another Clickbait title that there is no resemblance to the video. I hate hate hate when you guys do that.
Ohh the poor tree guy 😂😭
Almost £400 price for Baby bouncer. ……Not for my pocket , I Am out …no buying it .
I will not give her or anyone else half business of my inventions
What a fake.. I’m a tradesman. I work with people dudes and teach them everything i know. And I’m still learning myself from other dudes in the trade! Never be afraid of “giving away secrets”.
At 1 hour in, when Sara says hers cost £60 when she purchased it 6 years ago, I would of replied saying, 6 years ago ;)
You "would of replied?" 🤔 What language is this?

Im hating these 'stylish' baby toys....boring plain mundane colours to match decor...rheir meant to be fir the baby and their development hence the bright colours ut literally baffles me it makes no sense if anything its selfish the whole point of the item is for the baby not the parent..surprised this isnt pointed out..then i hear the woman say her house was full of baby tatt and it no longer looked like her house ...errmmm im assuming that should proably be the case when anyone has a baby...and il also never understand why anyone would go in there without knowing all their numbers all the logistics balance sheet margins etc ...youd do your homework prior basically see what they ask and look out for and make sure youre well prepared for anything b4 you go in...like its a massive thing youre not being thrown in at last minute you apply for the show ffs if anything you'd be prepared b4 you even applied for the show surely...i never understood it
I wish I could get hold of these Ayurvedic products. The whole system is great. I learned something about it in India.
Himalaya sells ayurvedic products. Ayurvedic products are not new at all.
7:15 _Peeeeww_
The west of ireland guys seem flakey
Overpriced foam roller thats less portable... doesnt make any sense
I wish the presenter would stop with the innuendos and spoilers. What's the point of watching when he more than hints at what's going to happen? I mute the video when he speaks. If anyone knows him, tell him to stop ruining the programme.
Totally agree, I bet he hates his job sometimes when he sees the script… the puns are terrible!
Steven unfortunately shows his inexperience in the dragons den
You say that exact same thing on every video, but you never give examples or show any evidence at all.
I mean, everybody's got to have a hobby, but... buy yourself an Xbox, you'll love it
Todays kids are forced to learn other languages
Jenny creates any old excuse not to invest
The Ayurvedic product should be pitched to the Hindu, Jain and general Indian market where people understand the whole concept.
Couldn't stand any of these
So Ayurvedic girl is just all made up psuedoscience nonsense. 0 scientific evidence.
Now days ,learning other languages is compulsory, in schools, which is ridiculous, And in practice, this is not to offend other faiths ,in my opinion?
There's no need to conflate language and faith. Learning the french or Spanish or German or Italian etc etc doesn't mean learning a faith. It is also very stimulating for children's brains to learn different languages. Stimulates new neural pathways. It also broadens their horizons. Maybe they will decide they want to go live in a different country for a while to experience something new. Sticking to one language out of some kind of principle is very close minded.
Another new mum ….who thinks she has been the only one in the world who has given birth so overnight can become a millionaire…..yawn…so cliche on this programme.
It's not just the program. Everybody who reproduces seems to think they're special, completely forgetting animals have reproduced for longer than mammals have been a thing.
