This diy cell phone crossbody bag is simple design and easy to sew. It is mini size and looks so cute.
I make this cell phone pouch because I need a mini pouch to carry my smartphone and coin purse when I go garden tour with my younger sister.

Great pattern and instructions. Love it. Thank you. I chose to pre-cut pattern from CM graph paper. I can re-use the pattern over and over without having to measure each time. I wrote notes on each piece.
I did the same thing on card stock paper with writing notes on each piece as well.

Where would you sew two small tabs for a straps that come from inside the bag and peek out from the side of the flap??
I have not sew tabs on the bag😊💖
At the end where you sew the lining into the bag do you sew right sides together or wrong sides together. Obviously, it makes a difference as you want right side to show when you turn it. Help!

I love this, but I wished you would put up with CM equal in inches, don't understand CM, I found a conversion chart, but it would be so much easier if it showed both inches and CM. I'll try and make this and hopefully it comes out right. Thank you

I'll try using a ruler because it shows BOTH INCHES and CENTIMETERS (CM) on it.
Most tape measures have both ;)
I just started using cm and am finding it easier than inches. I just have to re-train my brain to “visualize” how much a centimeter is. 😅
Most of the world uses cm, they are much easier than inches.

I don't have it. I am so sorry about that. The pattern is so simple and the making process is demonstrated on the video😉💖
I wish you would fast forward the sewing parts. And use a non light lining as it us hard to see.

To Linda Ball - Most rulers have both inches and CM-s. I was very frustrated for a long time until I turned the ruler over one day and voila - CM's! Boy did I feel dumb! LOL
All of my rulers have inches, no metric. My tape measures have both

I've been sewing, cooking and crafting since the age of 8 and am sooo accustomed to inches and feet as opposed to the metric system. The pouch is very pretty. I kind of think that the material is rather thin for the phone. A padded eye glass holder would be more durable. If the strap slipped off a shoulder, the phone could fall and be damaged. Most people put phones in their pockets.
