Great demo 💛When I did it I grabbed a large thick box from a skip bin to level off the area between seats and trunk. It made all the difference 😃 ps I was sad the tinting in the roof made star gazing impossible. Wish there was a way around that.
I am 6'4" and I camp in my Model 3! I have to sleep diagonally or fetally because I can touch the trunk inappropriately with my toes. But it is fine. I can sleep on my side with some space to spare without hitting the rear cover.
I do wish the seats folded perfectly flat, but we can't have everything I guess. Woot!
I'm 2 inches taller than you and definitely plan on trying out camping in a 2023 M3 I should be acquiring by the end of the year. I want to sleep in a hotel parking lot while charging for free then snag some free continental breakfast.😅

Ventilation is also against high CO2 concentrations. I have a CO2 meter. It shows only up to 5000 ppm, this can be reached in a half hour. After a night, a light CO2 poisoning can occur.
True! I had no idea about this until I got a meter, but it rises *really* quickly in a closed up, parked car.

Panels, as in solar panels? None in the Tesla lineup; currently just Fisker and Aptera as the most relevant ones.
And yeah, I just go road tripping/camping in the Model 3. If I'm on a longer trip and I need to shower in the winter, I guess a motel gets worked in

I saw a lot of tests like this already. but i am currious about the battery? Do you know how much battery you would use without charging?
Lets say you want to spend a night at very beautiful spot. outside we have 0-5 degrees and car is set by 17 degrees for approx. 8 hours.
I would like to know how much battery that uses?

Can you do this in a 2019 model 3, how much battery charge should you have to not run low for some travelling the following morning, or i suppose do you know ( without being plugged into a socket) how much battery you would use overnight.
Yep, every Tesla has Camp Mode. It automatically shuts off if you hit 20%

While it's hard for me to say as I don't know your body and what's comfortable for you, it doesn't seem like it to me. You get lots of adjustment with the seat. If you can, I would suggest test driving one (or even just sitting in one) if at all feasible for you
@MikeInTheWoods I don't have option for a test drive unfortunately. Even on long drives you found it to be comfortable? Getting in and out not an issue either?
What extension cord do you use? And what length? Any problems?
