Mako and Haejin, and Totoro

After seeing "Shorinzu Byobu" a 17th century masterpiece, Mako and Haejin looked forward to attending another museum... Ghibli Museum (Hayao Miyazaki's creation). Why are they so interested in Totoro?

Less than 1% of Japan is Christian. Sounds like a country that needs Jesus to me. To much of missionary organizations are only based on socio-ecconomics instead of spiritual need. I love Totoro. Thank you for pointing out hidden biblical values in Japanese culture.
