For me it's compelling that it packs features like AMOLED screen with autobrightness, into such a small form factor, with a wide range of different straps, all for an affordable price.
Nog nooit een smartband gehad maar altijd met veel interesse naar een miband gekeken! Het scherm is echt een vooruitgang met vorige generaties!

The frame is actually plastic with a metal look. Seems to be durable so far.

But to be honest the most awesome feature are the new jogging features!!!
I never heard from a Smartband collecting so much Information to optimize your run.

I love the pendant mode, I sometimes can't wear my mi band 6 on my wrist or my wrist just needs a break, I look forward to buying one some time this year.

Definitely autobrightness (if it works properly) is my favourite change and also the new strap system looks very nice.
I use my Mi smartband in combination with home assistant to get notifications on my watch. My son his Miband 5 just broke down so would be a great addition to give him a new one and also make use of all great goodies the smartband 8 has!! Thnx Martijn for a nother good vid :)
My favorite feature is definitely the enhanced battery indicator! It takes out the guesswork of when the smart band will die. 😅

Thanks for the giveaway. My favorite feature is the removable straps. I wish it had NFC for payments. Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi Pay in my country but they tripping themselves with the absence of NFC in most of their wearables.
I love de auto brightness feature. Every time I try to track my sleep with my miband 5, I get randomly flashbanged in the middle of the night when I lift my arms :')
My favorite feature is that now it shows how long the battery stays on.

Oh man.. I could really use this watch. My Mi Band 6 doesn't react to the touch input anymore, so can only see the time with raise to wake 😅 Best watch I ever owned because of its simplicity and size. Also the Notify app is amazing for tracking my sports (table tennis and kickboxing).

(touch stopped functioning after swimming and water got in the case.. I've been showering and swimming with it daily since day one, though. It held up great all things considered. Friend of mine had the same issue. Hope the 8 has better water proofing.)
The added feature of using the Smart Band 8 as a clip on your shoes definitely is my favorite feature. It gives the device more flexibility in its usability.
my favourite feature is no doubt the screen refresh rate, 60hz instead of 30 hz is way smoother!

Honestly, it’s pretty darn awesome! My favorite feature, the new 60Hz AMOLED screen, is super clear and crisp, and there are so many new strap options to choose from. You can totally make it your own and show off your personal style!✌️
i love the double loop straps because its look sick and stand out compare to other straps (based on my opinion) not to mention the colour combination of black and white colours

Love the auto brightness, new metalic frame and accessories. Looking forward for the global version in the stores and also for the mi fitness app to support the mi scale , so I delete the zepp life app. Best wishes!

The 30Hz screen on previous models was always a compromise. Now the device seems a bit more premium 😎

How to connect mi band 8 to strava?
The screen looks really awesome and the auto brightness is such a plus. But to be honest the band has such a non intrusive design that it’s just so seamless to use either day to day or for fitness so the new way to connect the bands is really cool. Thanks for the great content ✌️

I think the bigger battery and screen being a bit brighter and bigger is hugely beneficial, as microchips improve they are more efficient and them having added some new features such as the battery indicator is gold to knowing if the device is intended or not, the new system of clipping the straps to the band is also a much needed upgrade, those small pins which u needed to attach the band to the chassis was a horrible mechanism and it caused quite often that the wristband would get loose and loose the pin and unable to wear the band. As someone who had the smart band 6 for a long time and it being broken and dying for a replacement as the whole product gives valueable information, I think these upgrades are definitely worth it and will definitely would want one, a good birthday gift I would say so!

I actually love the 60hz feature, it makes the band feel so smooth and premium. I also love the fact that even with a display this good and this smooth it still has an amazing battery life ❤.
