6lb Oktoberfest Bratwurst Challenge w/ Bavarian Pretzel Bun!!

- A&Z #885 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs Bay Street Biergarten's 6lb Oktoberfest Bratwurst Challenge w/ a Bavarian Pretzel Bun at Bay Street Biergarten in downtown Charleston, South Carolina!! After leaving Atlanta, Georgia, I traveled back to the Charleston, South Carolina area so I could attempt two more challenges. For event #2, I traveled to the downtown area off East Bay Street and helped kick off a new food challenge at Bay Street Biergarten. As part of their month-long Oktoberfest celebration, they offered a 6lb "Kamikaze" Oktoberfest Bratwurst Challenge w/ a Bavarian pretzel bun plus 1 liter of Bavarian beer. I had 45 minutes to finish a 3.5lb smoked bratwurst sausage that was 4" thick x 12" long. It was served on a 1.5lb Bavarian pretzel bun with German macaroni and cheese, Brussels sprout coleslaw, sauerkraut, and more. Oktoberfest was sponsored by Devils Backbone Brewing Company, so I also had to finish 1 liter of their "Munchen On Hops" Bavarian IPA served in 2 pint-sized glasses. I was trying to win my $50 German food meal free and a sweet t-shirt. Thank you to everyone with Bay Street Biergarten for the food, drinks, and hospitality!! Bay Street Biergarten's 6lb Oktoberfest Bratwurst Challenge in Charleston, South Carolina ($50):
- Bay Street Biergarten is located in historic downtown Charleston, SC off East Bay Street.
- In celebration of 2020 Oktoberfest, they started this 6lb Kamikaze Bratwurst Challenge.
- There is a 3.5lb (weight) 12" long x 4" diameter smoked sausage served on a pretzel bun.
- The 1.5lb Oktoberfest Bavarian pretzel bun can be served with beer cheese (it's optional).
- The brat includes sauerkraut, a Brussel sprout coleslaw, and German macaroni & cheese.
- There is also horseradish, a spicy mustard, and the challenge includes 2 big pints of beer.
- The beers were "München on Hops" by Devils Backbone Brewing Company (Bavarian IPA).
- There is a 45 minute time limit to finish everything. Winners get the tasty $50 meal free!!
- Champions also earn a sweet t-shirt and a spot on Bay Street Biergarten's Wall of Fame.

OH my god I HATE/LOVE these videos because at the 20 min mark I'm like oh he will finish this with time to spare. Lol NO, I've watched enough videos to know that carbs are his weakness, then decides to take his sweet time chugging. Impressive obviously but oh my god I'm so stressed ahahahahha
