    If you read the directions on a lot of these small air compressors they recommend letting the compressor rest, after 10 minutes of continuous use.

      Amazon listing says 40 minute duty cycle, only really a problem if you're going above 80 PSI on a bunch of flat tires =)

    I ran into an issue with compressors when offroading I used a smittybilt and it was perfect for my jeep tires but when I bought my class c motorhome it couldn't get above 50. Upgraded to a viair made for motorhomes and its slower but gets my tires up to the 85 they can for.

    I got two Gobege before your reviewing, they air up 33" truck tires about 2minutes to go from 18psi to 36psi.

    Looks pretty solid! It would probably perform even better if you connected it directly to the battery of your running truck!
    The Harbor Freight and Northern Tool compressors actually aren’t bad but they have about a 15% duty cycle of you wanna avoid a meltdown!

    I bought one almost like what you have it's a different brand they are really nice and they do take a bit of time but it's much easier than carrying a larger compressor and the idea is to get enough length in the clamps in the wires and the line to go from the front of the truck to the tires on the camper mine worked out fairly decent it takes quite a while but not bad for the price

    Not bad, I don't like the fact that it doesn't turn off without switching it off. I recently picked up the Viar 400P-RV and even though it's more expensive I definitely feel it's worth it.

    • @mpcp27
      @mpcp27 Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah the pressure switch is a nice feature on the viair 400p-RV. There are videos on CZcams for the addition of the pressure switch to this compressor-parts are maybe $50. Which gives you a compressor with similar functionality as the viair400 for significantly less $..($200 vs $350 for v400) and double the cfm of the viair. The duty cycle is comparable. And you can switch out for standard quick release fittings and easily get hose extensions.

    I would say the name is “go bee geé”. Knowing it is Australian designed, the name could be “Go BeeGees” Nice to see it works directly off the battery. I would probably use it connected to a vehicle battery with the engine idling. I appreciate your reviews and practical tests. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.

    Wow, I can't thank you enough. I just received my Gobege (Go Biggy) I'm guessing ... in the mail yesterday. I bought it for my 65psi RV tires. But this Granny is scared of things. So I'm a little apprehensous of putting air in. Thank-you for pointing out how to read the gauge. But mine has an extra piece of tube with a metal end that has a toggle flap? I'm trying to not say thingee... It allows me to slip it right onto the tire air rod then close it for the pressure to build. I aired up one tire on the car and it went way up in seconds from 27 to 40, so I had to reduce the air back nearer to 35 psi. But tomorrow I'm going to attempt to do the RV tires, and I'm nervous but I need to learn this task. I'm praying for good results. Thank-you again for your video! The Lord had a reason for you to make this video with this same model I bought and it was for me to watch!!! Take care now!

    Thanks for reviewing a more powerful portable compressor. Typical inflators are hopeless for bringing the tires on my truck up from off roading pressure (20-35psi) up to highway pressure (70-80psi). I ended up getting a Viair for one of them but it would be nice to find something a little less expensive for the other one.

    Nice real world test. Many RV CZcams channels recommend Viair. I would like to see a similar test with a Viair compressor. If you aleady did such a test, a link to that video would be helpful. THX for considering my request / suggestion.

    Thanks for that video JD. My BIL has the Viair P88 and it does great from 18 to 35 on his 1500 Chevy.(he goes out on the beach a lot) but now that I have upgraded to a 3/4 ton I would need to go from 18 to 60-65 psi and this looks like it’ll do the job much better.

    This really makes me want a big compressor tank to quickly air up tires with. I'm not unhappy with the review, I'm just dredding sitting around 60 minutes to air up 6 tires.

    • @mpcp27
      @mpcp27 Před 2 lety

      The alternative to the big tank is to go with a bigger air compressor. There are double head compressors on the market that are putting out 10.4cfm. i have seen CZcams videos of them filling up 4-33 inch tires from 18psi to 35 psi in about 6 minutes. Depending on which one you get the price will run you $120 to $220.
      Napa maxi trac 300lpm is about $120 - sold out usually..- no warranty though.
      Summit racing has them for $180
      Desert Armor Beast compressor for $230. I am not sure but i think the desert armor one has a built in pressure switch..

    That's re-branded. It's identical to my ALL-TOP I got from Amazon last summer. Same size, shape, style, color, same hose and gauge, except my air filter cover is not chrome. The gauge is not accurate. The hose connecting to the compressor gets so hot you can't disconnect it without using the rubber boot even after just 2 minutes.

      Lee, I don't disagree that quite a bit of stuff that comes from China is junk...that said, quite a bit of stuff that is made here in the states is also junk. Factory locations aside, I always appreciate a quality product from any country, especially the US. Not sure any of us would even be having these conversations if the US tried to manufacturer smartphones and TVs.
