I actually heard this theater. Can't imagine that it could actually "upgrade". It is so deceptive and simple, but crazy packed with power. You just can't judge a theater on what is sneakily behind the walls. That Sony provides CRAZY light output, much more so than the JVC's. Said to myself this is the best picture I have seen in a home theater. CANT WAIT to see your place Friday when I come down, it is awesome that I get to sample The Grid's speakers as well.
Great to see you getting back to your personal room videos...always loved seeing the progress. I still remember the full SVS setup.
Yeah this my 5th theater build. Everything is sold so now the videos for the 6th build are coming probably next week

About to go 9.4.4 with Presonus active studio monitors. ( Go pro & you'll never look back :)
Love how you're not doing the usual BS in-ceiling - but by favourite bit is your front-wides... Beautiful.
May I ask how you find they generally kick in with most material, and what processing modes you use to activate them?

Hello, long time no see. Your home theater looks nice. I can't wait to witness your next creation. Home theater is an expensive hobby. There's always something new and or different our little hearts will want to buy. I'm 3/4ths finished with my home theater room, and I've entertained changing my subwoofers and my bed layer speakers. I made the decision to just chill on what i already have and finish it and enjoy it for some time before buying anything else that's not necessary.
Yeah man. You can definitely go wild with this hobby. I got the hifi bug so im trying new powercables on the new system. Its fun. But yes. It can be pricey

I sold everything in here already. The new speakers are in and it is a big upgrade from this. Stay tuned :)

@@ThatHomeTheaterDude hey... thats nothing to be ashamed of. My room is also 13 ft wide and was looking at a 120". My speakers are not in wall and thought that 2 ft on either side of the screen should be enough room for them. You've got a great setup though. I still watch your old vids on the svs ultra setup you had.

was wondering this myself. I missed the other videos...guess i'll have to go back and see if he mentions it there.
I fell out of love with the brand. So i sold everything and upgraded to another speaker company.
For whatever it may be worth, I have an Ascendo setup in my room. Not the black swans, that aside they’re exceptional for home theater in my opinion.
At the same time, there are many other exceptional brands out there, RBH, Perlisten, JTR to name a few. I chose Ascendo for the foot print in my room. JTR, and Perlisten were just too large. I think if you are simply a consumer of speakers, you’d be very happy with Ascendo or any brand. You’d be well supported no matter who you choose.
Sometimes there are reasons behind decisions which we aren’t intended to know as it’s not our business. That said, I think it’s plausible that some content creators make investments in brands for the purposes of either reselling the brands or forming some type of an alliance. If something along the way were to breakdown, it seems natural for me that someone would consider abandoning the product in favor of another one.

@@stephenphillips1660 yep. I was upset when i filmed this last year. I figured it doesnt reflect how i feel now. After ascendo and i parted ways. I held onto the equipment for 6 months. I sold everything from that brand after that

Very cool old setup my dude. Was surprised by the new setup…like it much more than expected. Kinda broke the rules in certain ways…and it’s ain’t even done!!

My Friend. Good things around the way. I always valued your ear 👂 for sound and you made a good choice. I think there is better pathways and I know you probably know what I'll recommend. Pro Audio Technology. I recommend because there is no better pathways. It's been years and I don't want or need to upgrade and chase the carrot. I might sound like a confident maybe bias and perhaps I am. I love PRO))) and if I ever need upgrade, I'll contact Paul and he will make any demand I might need. I need to upgrade the house due to Pro and that's saying something. Please since you got this chance. Buy once and go with Pro and need to save buy some Theory mix it up. Pro can do custom anything for boats, places of worship, concerts. Pro )))
Ascendo might try to pretend it's Pro Audio Technology but it's not. There is no high super Uber level and making some big subwoofers is only part of any equation. Go Pro. Thanks Paul
