    hello sir, ask ko lang po if possible na wala ang multiplier sa architect fee?

      Possible sir, but not recommended. Sa ganyang scenario, lalabas is "1" ung multiplier ni architect sa rate nya (i.e. Rate x 1 = Rate).... ibig sabihin, break-even/walang kita (UNLESS, ung amount ng rate nya, may kasama ng leeway na may matitira pang profit after direct expenses). Sa "1" na multiplier sa direct personnel expenses method of compensation, kung ano ung ginastos, ung lng din binalik. So, technically, ni-reimburse lng ni architect ung gastos nya with no fees (IF ang declared Rate nya is saktuhan sa gastusin).

    Hi po. My review teacher told us DADS is always just 60% of RPF. I'm confused to why 7.5% is the answer to 60% of 12%. Shouldn't it be 7.2%? Hehe hope you can clarify

      Hi! It is 60% for MOST (like for Groups 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7), but NOT all. The two exceptions are: Group 5 (where DADS is actually 62.5% of DAEDS, regardless of PCC; and Group 1 with PCC over 1B (where excess of 1B -- the EXCESS and NOT the 60% base fee -- is computed higher in DADS compared to that computed in DAEDS, at 120%). :)

      You're welcome! 😊 For purposes of the ALE (exam), nobody can really tell which topics or questions will come out except for the examiners themselves. It can be as simple as identifying the UAP Doc. number only, or selecting which Group a certain building is categorized in. It can also be moderate such as asking what percentage of the fee a certain design service is recommended to be billed by the architect. It may also be as difficult involving some analyses and calculations, like the ones in my video. As examinees, you never know. That said, the more you prepare the better your chances of getting the right answer. Memorization only serves you short-term to a certain point. I highly advise that you do not only memorize BUT ALSO familiarize. Understanding the "why" and the "how" is longer-term, and will easily give you the result of the "what". Consequently, not only will this help you in examinations but also in your career later on. 👍
