Money has made many owners complacent…fans still go to games, provide revenue, watch games, etc. no matter what the team results show.

Athletes and coaches don’t get paid for what they do on the field-they actually get paid for the heat they take off the field. The highest paid athletes are usually the most famous and most criticized, which can be a very difficult life to live. That’s not to say you are not correct in your point about gov’t employees needing to be paid more.

I love Irvin, but that's not a good look for you. Several studies have ranked military members as the most stressful jobs in the world, so saying 2-33 is disrespectful to ask service members and veterans. I understand it's just hyperbole, but that should've been thought out better.

McCarthy’s not going anywhere 3 out of 4 seasons he’s been there have been 12-5. I don’t see him going anywhere. Look at how long Jerry kept Jason Garrett around for all those 8-8 seasons. The only one I could see leaving would be Quinn
Also skip the cowboys have played in 8 superbowls. In the 70’s they’re 2-3 in the Super Bowl(=5) and 3-0 in the 90’s. (5+3=8)

Yes McCarthy needs a deep run into the playoffs and make the Superbowl. If they lose in the Superbowl then maybe you give him and extension but if they lose during any other place in the playoffs. He needs to go. We got some good coaches that have been release around the league that can be a better fit for Dallas.

To Richard Sherman's question, "have you ever seen a coaching change make a huge improvement the following season.....Jim Harbaugh in one of the greatest coaching jobs ever, essentially took the same team that terrible coach Mike Singletary led to a 7-9 record in 2010 and Harbaugh took almost the exact same 49ers team the following year in 2011 to the NFC Championship game. That was one of the greates turn around and coaching jobs in NFL history!

Richard Sherman is correct that great players don't necessarily make great leaders. DeMarcus Ware is a prime example. There was no leadership on the defensive side during the Romo era.
Skip learn the phrase “ten toes down” from Sherman and now his never gonna let it go.
In nearly any sport but most certainly team sport you're working in a result-driven environment. So if you're not winning then your job is in danger.
It’s gonna work in the Cowboys favor for losing to playoff teams. It’s hard to beat teams twice in the NFL, especially playoff caliber teams.

As an active duty Air force member, i can say i doubt that head coaches have the hardest job. I’ll take a couple millions to coach for three years.

I would say; add the first eagles game, may have rested more players the last game, but then would that rest affect us negatively?
The way the season ended it may be the best possible outcome considering how this team has not won a chip yet and is young with some experience.
