The Systematic Withdrawal Plan or SWP offers investors a regular income and returns money that is left in the scheme. You may withdraw a fixed or a variable amount on a pre-decided date every month, quarter, or year.
You may customize cash flows to withdraw, either a fixed amount or the capital gains on the investment. For example, an investor would invest Rs. 1 Crore and request that Rs. 70,000 be paid on the 1st of every month. Then, units worth Rs. 70,000 would be redeemed on the 1st of every month.

explained simply but there are still many complexities involved...a rule of thumb is that if your current monthly expenses are INR x then your retirement corpus should be 25x. and you need to withdraw 4 percetn annually of your retirement corpuse as SWP but you need to take care of the inflation as well which means you need to increase your SWP by 10 percent every year
What if we die after 40-50 yrs of retirement.
We will be in shortage of funds in last few yrs before we die.
Best option is atleast retire when u have 30-35 yrs of expense & Work as freelancer/part time /2hrs a day/3-4 months/p.a/side business like real estate agent after retirement & live peacefully and die rich.

1. No bank gives 12% intrest..its only 7% approx. So, your 10k per month won't become 1 crore in 20 yrs.
2. She is telling "70 k" you will be able to withdraw monthly, from the monthly interest of 1 crore after 20 yrs... That means your bank should be giving min 8.4% min interest after 20 yrs... If you observe, bank interest reduces over time... For example every advanced countries like Australia or America has fd interest below 1%.
3. Plus FD intrests are subject to income tax. You will not get entire intrest amount to your hand.
