Jaffna is a big city in the north near India. It is a Tamil population area. My journey is across Sri Lanka from North to South. The Main Railway Stations on this route are Vavuniya and Anuradhapura. What a lovely journey through verdant countryside, monsoon season? Sri Lankans are very clean and proud people, no rubbish dumped along the railway tracks like in India and Pakistan. I think Sri Lankan people are more aware of the environment and how to conserve and recycle. Great background music too.

Yeah no work, unemployment, bankruptcy, inflation have drived SL's to run to other countries, hence it is green and clean.

Beautiful monsoon clouds rains kitul palm trees from jaffna to mid point then coconut trees banana plants green green lovely also the music is soothing. I have been to Sri Lanka 11 times travelled by train from Colombo to Kandy, Kandy to Nani Oya, kandy to Matale, and by bus from Matale to Trinco, Trinco to Anuradha Pura... Lovely people and beautiful country. Long live Sri Lanka.
